Virgo Horoscope (August 23 - September 22)
Mutable Earth. Your ruling planet is Mercury.

Things are becoming clearer for you, Virgo, and this clarity allows you to let partners into the picture. In this regard you are forging new territory of interaction as well as partaking of a grounded sense of optimism for yourself alone, one that takes past failures as well as successes fully into account moving forward. There is loads of energy available to you right now for putting your feet more firmly on the path of your highest purpose for yourself. You might be feeling a sense of isolation these days, or of limitation regarding personal progress. This sense of self-reliance is also a comfort however, and helps to stabilize the flurry of your outreach to others.

As the month begins, you are feeling a responsible sense of ministration to the needs of others. There is a great deal of energy in your sector of service and of discipleship to your true calling, owing to a collection of planets, including your ruler Mercury, that is congregating there. This is in no way foreign to your basic nature, of course, but as you feel the extra pull in this direction, an opportunity is presented to really tune in to those feelings, and to separate out what feels like obligation from what feels like joy and true vocation. You are also in a relationship mood, stemming from the New Moon in your partnership sector from the end of the previous month. While partnership is beneficial in the sense that two heads really are better than one, and merging is fun, there are also issues that belong to yourself alone that must be dealt with. Mediating between these polarities will prove to be an important theme for you in the current monthly cycle. With the First Quarter Moon of late Tuesday evening, March 3rd, these ideas may come into sharp relief as subtle tensions highlight the bumps and rough patches in the path that you are treading. You are coming at the moment from an idealized and almost illusion-based position and you are wise to take a second glance at what seems obvious and to look before you leap. Another issue you will encounter now is the painful realization of the vast gap between you and your ideal. This can apply to lovers or to what you love to do in the world; and the odd thing is that the gap, though real, is only a mental construct. There is really no gap, and yet there is, as you move into and out of your highest soul-level attitude. The high cannot last as drug-takers all know, but that doesn�t mean it isn�t still there, waiting for you to discover it once again. There�s no real disaster; this is just what it means to be human. In the end, there is only what is. The Full Moon of the following week, taking place on Tuesday evening, March 10th, represents a balance point for these various perspectives, including that of self and other. There is something entirely energizing right now regarding significant others in your life, as they take you out of yourself, and yet also an awareness of an important space within you where others cannot help, which is for yourself, and yourself alone, to navigate. As the remainder of the month unfolds, you will find yourself with a closer look at your relationship behavior through the lens of recent experience, attempting to determine what part of it makes total sense for you in terms of where you need to go. It pays to remember that at some point you must let analysis fall by the wayside, and learn to trust entirely to your instincts, which is really your inner guidance.
