Welcome to the transformational stew, Virgo. This month represents a time when many factors in your life could alter, or receive different emphasis. You are very busy right now finding new worlds to conquer, all within the scope of your own inner imagination. You might emerge at the end of this period as the butterfly you were always intended to be, although in the meantime it proves more difficult the more you try to hold on to your outmoded caterpillar stage rather than simply letting go of it. It's a trust fall backwards with eyes closed and only your faith to relax you, whispering to your sleeping mind that the universe is out there beneath you somewhere, more than ready to hold you up.

As the month begins you may well feel the pressure of your current placements toward metamorphosis. The New Moon from the last week of the previous month took place in your sector of personal transformation and intimacy, and during the first half of April you have a unique opportunity to seize the day and make it your own. Although you have been diligent over this entire year in pursuing your objectives, there is a doorway into a further opportunity that is opening for you right now that is unique. You are being asked to step up to the plate and swing away, in line with your wildest fantasy of what you could become, and to ground that ideal with a healthy sense of the practical limitations that equally constrain your efforts. It is important that you take the idealistic into account along with the practical. You just can't have progress right now without relying on both sides of this equation. The First Quarter Moon of Thursday, April 2nd, represents a crucial fulcrum when you will be tested in some way to see what part of the impulse from the previous New Moon survives and is allowed to mature. You are feeling the pinch, but your optimism right now is as compelling as your sense of limitation. You are taking important partnerships in your life more fully into account and your family, as well as the community that nurtures you. It is a truism that you can't raise a child without a village to support their development, and the same is true of you these days. The Full Moon a week later, taking place on Thursday, April 9th, in your sector of values and resources, confirms this basic fact and allows your agenda for yourself to flower. You are reaching for your highest purpose right now in order to discover your unique contribution, feeling the urge to be the best that you can be. The New Moon of the last week of the month, coming along on Friday, April 24th, is another key moment and a kickoff for a more inclusive viewpoint in your next phase. If there are doubts that hold you back, these could also yield. You benefit from the support and advice you receive from partners on your journey. It helps to remember that your fears are only as real as you make them, and that getting in touch with them is the first step to transcending their power. As the sages have said, it is wise to "follow your fear" and see just where it might lead you.
