Virgo Horoscope (August 23 - September 22)
Mutable Earth. Your ruling planet is Mercury.

You are coming to a point of clarity, Virgo. It has been in some ways a long haul. This month you can see your path forward with extended vision, and you might even have the courage to act on that vision, provided you do not get distracted by the excess baggage that you have been carrying around all this time and that you were more than ready to toss overboard in any case. This sounds easier than it may prove to be in practice, but your heart tells you that it is the only way to go. Your wishes are powerful for you now, and point the way forward, so that you benefit from lightening the load.

As the month begins you are feeling like the sky is the limit, this in spite of recent reversals and imposed restrictions. These might have cramped your style but not your spirit. Of course you must also beware of false optimism and naïve idealism, and take seriously the dictum that you will take whatever the universe has to offer you, willingly and gladly. It is certainly true that whenever the situation comes up roses, that is very nice, and when not so rosy there is also occasion to rejoice, since positive growth and successful outcomes are in any case just around the corner. This is a lucky period of time for you right now, when your wishes could easily come true as long as you stick to your highest principles and desire what you need and not what your little mind thinks that it wants. You are strong on service at this juncture, and need only to keep alert to all your possibilities and watch that you donít mistake cheerful giving of yourself for martyrdom or resentment. Finding the right mix of action and holding back is always an art, now even more so. With the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of Tuesday, July 7th, these ideas and more will come to the surface of your mind and be ripe for the plucking. You are summoning up all your wisdom and experience right now to enable you to make the correct choices, and within yourself you know what these are, when you take the trouble and spend the focus of concentration to fully tune in. There is a metamorphosis occurring and like the butterfly you are engaged at this time in an intense process of becoming that is not always fun or even easy, and will last through to the end of the year. It might be comforting to recognize that this is but the necessary next step for your soulís evolution. The Last Quarter Moon of the middle of the following week, taking place on July 15th, may mark a time of acceptance of what you cannot change in your situation, just as the serenity prayer would have it. You are arriving at a place of wisdom and grace under pressure as you take the largest possible picture into account in your summing up. Then the New Moon comes along on Tuesday evening, July 21st. This is another eclipse and therefore quite potent, and if you will let go, it takes you to the next level of what it is that you are attempting to accomplish in this lifetime. Over this entire month there is a delicate balance to be struck between on the one hand accepting what the universe has to offer and on the other hand taking charge and making your own way forward. By the end of the month you will be integrating an improved and quite different solution based on the experience of this monthly cycle.
