Virgo Horoscope (August 23 - September 22)
Mutable Earth. Your ruling planet is Mercury.

It has been a difficult road these past few weeks, Virgo. But finding yourself stuck in what you are attempting can become a godsend when you get it right, providing lasting lessons. Angel voices, in the guise of close friends and love mates, provide fresh information that breaks you out of your well-worn track in surprising and unexpected ways. As you awaken to security needs now become evident, and comprehend that the old reliable solutions don't seem to be working anymore, you have find a new basis. The way through is to stay the course, and to accept it that your self-definition is altering, irrevocably and at times joyfully, in the light of this emerging reality.

As the month begins, you are riding the wave of the New Moon from last month that conjuncted Saturn in your identity sector. You might have been feeling your responsibilities more poignantly than ever, but there is a sense of freedom as well, and a longing to escape the bounds of your situation that may resolve itself in new twists on existing relationships, or even perhaps different ones that spring up suddenly in your life and remind you that it is not all about keeping the bills paid and the chores done. With the Full Moon of Saturday, October 3rd, you realize all this and more; that life is taking you along some very interesting and soulful paths right now, and that you are stretching in some novel fashion in response to changing times, so that the arc of your current development will have many untold consequences in weeks still to come. You are balancing issues of self and other right now and while this can be a challenge, it is also very definitely a learning process and there is joy in that unfolding. There is also joy in the realization that spiritual necessity is pushing you to accept a larger picture of your duties and your obligations that includes a fundamental belief in service to the greater collective as an integral part of what you are currently about. There might be some degree of confusion surrounding your role in this scheme, as is natural for such a vast topic of consciousness but it is certain that a sea-change is in the works for you, and for how you manifest your self-expression into the world. The New Moon that follows two weeks later, taking place on the evening of Saturday, October 17th, may spark an entirely new trend for you in meeting financial and emotional security needs, based on inner values rather than external ones, and spiritual substance over material. The final two weeks of the month will prove to be the working out in some form of these ideas, with the First Quarter Moon of Sunday, October 25th, an important turning point. There could be a period of tension at this juncture, as you are forced to face what doesn't quite work in the evolution of your dreams and schemes for a better future, and what might indeed be viable.
