Virgo Horoscope (August 23 - September 22)

Something is happening here, Virgo. A new you is emerging from the very depths of your soul. Over the past month you have come to a renewed understanding of the world and of your place within it, and now you are ready to capitalize on this burgeoning awareness. Make no mistake about it - focused transformation in the face of challenges continues. A growing appreciation of the significant relationships in your life is accompanied by a new-found grasp of the many ways that you continue to trip yourself up in that area. As you gain in self-knowledge over the course of this entire month you will arrive at a new point of departure for the changes still taking place, and it is paradoxically the very same one that you have been experiencing within yourself all along.

As the month begins, you are feeling the power of the Full Moon from the end of last month, which activated your sector of home and family. This area of your life has been subject to many different ideas lately and is about to take another growth spurt. Either that or you might find a sudden turning of a corner so that new vistas open up for you. These could be regarding your spiritual/emotional home base, family dynamics or your actual physical domicile, symbolic of these. The Last Quarter Moon of Friday, June 4th, brings significant partners into the picture also. There are potential conflicts between your outer world agenda and what the pull of relationship in your life actually calls for, and these can obviously provide valuable lessons. You are in any case in the mode of summing up the revelations from the past three weeks and, whether you know it yet or not, preparing for even more profound insights still to come. When the New Moon of Saturday, June 12th, takes place a week later, it brings along with it a fresh energy for career priorities in your life. You are earnestly engaged in exercising your outer world proclivities but not to the neglect of inner ones also, which are calling to you ever more insistently. You are going through further stages of your metamorphosis with each passing week, and some are surprising in the suddenness with which they come on. At this transformationally active time, partners prove both a blessing and a wake-up call for necessary change. The painful places of past partnership challenges - the ghosts of relationship past - are very present for you now. You might find that old patterns of behavior rise up out of your depths to disturb your peace of mind. You might even be tempted to duck or somehow escape these experiences as too difficult. The way past these is the way through them, however. Through the choices that you make over this pivotal month, you are preparing a way for yourself to move more gracefully into a future orientation that works for you better than the ones that came before it. You are making a difference not only for yourself but also for the planetary collective that you serve and to which you more than fundamentally belong.
