Virgo Horoscope (August 23 - September 22)
Mutable Earth. Your ruling planet is Mercury.

Time has come to you now in a big way, Virgo. You might have resisted the pressure of transformation for months, but the leisure to contemplate rather than participate in massive change is rapidly drawing to a close. The good news is that your life goals are morphing quickly, nothing you can do about it, like pulling off a band aid, so that you don't even have to stop and think anymore. Relationships help to move you forward in proportion to how thoroughly you can shuck old and worn-out patterns of connection. The pain of separating from your false conditioning is far less when you make the transition willingly. So if you have the inclination, take the chance that is presenting itself to you; and you haven't, take it anyway. This message will repeat until you do.

As the month begins, you are perhaps feeling a little frazzled by the many activities coming at you, like taking a drink of water from a fire hydrant. During the previous month you set out gladly and willingly to conquer new territories and now it might seem as though they have conquered you instead. It is therefore important to lift your gaze to the bigger picture. This too shall pass, and will find you feeling more fit than ever to take on the multitudinous challenges of this era. In spite of appearances, you are indeed coming into your power, and doing so in a way that is uniquely your own. It therefore does not work for you to pay too much attention to consensus thinking at this stage of the game. It does make sense to pay close attention to everything that your inner guidance has to tell you. At the time of the Last Quarter Moon taking place on the July 4th holiday, you will have an excellent chance to do just that. This is a time of relative tension in your process that serves to aid you in your evolutionary progress toward the new you that is being created these days out of the ashes of the old. You are seeing the drawbacks as well as the advantages of everything that you are attempting, but rather than getting you down, these deficiencies can be helpful to you in rounding out your perception to include a more balanced and nuanced view of what is actually possible and not just imaginatively conceivable. You win when you have the courage to pursue your goals in spite of everything, and most especially those that are consistent with your developing inner vision. The New Moon and Solar Eclipse takes place a week later, on Sunday, July 11th, and you will find fresh energy at this time for following your dreams. This is an important juncture, one where partners come more directly into the picture, and also one where the pull is strong both of illusion and of contrasting practical realism. You are in a terrific place right now to make plans for the future. Whatever you decide to accomplish has a good chance of actualization over these next few weeks and months. Therefore be careful what you wish for, and choose for inner guidance as much as possible, as the true measure of your success. At the time of the First Quarter Moon, taking place on Sunday, July 18th, you might begin to see the flaws in everything that you are up to, as well as the seeds for growth and progress. Then by the time of the powerful Full Moon near the end of the month, taking place on Sunday, July 25th, you are coming into a new alignment with yourself. At this time you are both more internal than ever, and also more out in the world with what you really believe in. The resolution does not come easily, Meditation on heart direction is one key to this last week of the month. You are working without a net and sustained effort is involved, but you are on the right track right now with what you are attempting.
