Virgo Horoscope (August 23 - September 22)

This month represents a powerful and a difficult time for you, Virgo, with your ruler Mercury retrograding back and forth across your sector of self-expression and conjunct Pluto. Your creativity is blossoming and also transforming in alignment with the dark unknown and largely unconscious center of your personality. Home, family and tribe are very much on your mind tight now as something within you calls out to you quite clearly, enjoining you to sit up and take notice. The signals are there, provided by an essentially benevolent universe, but how you respond is entirely up to you. At the time of the Winter Solstice and Lunar Eclipse of the 21st, surprises come and enlightenment may follow, but the fullest denouement takes weeks to unfurl, well into the New Year.

As the month begins, you are both family oriented and self-expressive, with surprises in store for you in terms of personal evolution and how partnership concerns filter though these areas. Your basic communication is coming from a deeper place right now than ever before, and this serves you by connecting you up with other points of view that help you to better define your own. You are also poignantly aware of how others enable the basis for your own security by supplying necessary foundations, and how you feel the urge in this time of your life to transcend any limits that are not entirely self-imposed. The New Moon of Sunday, December 5th, brings fresh energy to home and family concerns, and in some ways re-emphasizes these issues.
