Virgo Horoscope (August 23 - September 22)
Mutable Earth. Your ruling planet is Mercury.

Welcome one more time to the roller coaster, Virgo. You are entering yet another entirely different phase with everything that you do, based on changing perspectives within your conceptual framework. These perhaps in part stem from exploring new horizons and also perhaps from significant relationships in your life, which currently represent something of an idealized view and a moving target. There is a jumping off point that you reach and then reach again, and although you are so tempted to hold back you must in one form or another take the leap that is offered. All this might lead you to an overwhelming tsunami of questioning that will only really hit you during the last full week of the month.

As the month begins, you are in recovery mode from the previous month of the retrograde of your ruler Mercury through your sector of intimate connection with others and of your own personal evolution. This has been a time of review and of revisioning your purpose. You are in the midst of a very important transition time for your entire life, although the full impact of what is currently in process for you will not become clear until many days have passed and you are able to look back with the perspective of time. It might seem as though you are the plaything of the gods right now but you might find out by the end of this lengthy period that the have been acting in your own best interest, all along. The New Moon at the end of the second day of the month, taking place in the late evening and night of Monday, May 2nd, gives you fresh energy for your journey toward wholeness. It might feel like a mysterious and philosophically mystical moment, when everything is not as it seems, especially in the realm of interpersonal relationship. Partners can be deceptive, or appear to be, or you can become confused and trip over your own concepts and over-idealizations of them. Meanwhile, it is important not to lose sight of the fact that it is you who are changing without linkage to the alteration of the world around you. Like two trains side by side at the station, it can be difficult to tell which one is the actual mover, but in this case you can refer back to your own process as primary. As the result of recent experiments and experiences, you are seeing the world through different eyes. It is not only the world that has changed and grown. This departure from your prior consciousness gives you a platform on which to stand and a lever to move the world around you a little closer to your heart's true desire. Your task now is to determine exactly what that is. The First Quarter Moon of Tuesday, May 10th, and the days that follow might reveal further pieces of the puzzle, perhaps partially by showing you what it is not. This is a time of great expansion of a sense of possibility, and in refining your mission statement. It is also a time of relative tension in your process, when there could be conflicts between your socially available personality and the deeper layers of your psyche. The Full Moon a week later, taking place on Tuesday, May 11th, represents a time of fulfillment in this regard, and fosters a sense of unity within, a greater acceptance of both the passionate surface and the still depths of life. You are coming into greater conscious awareness of the mystical universe that surrounds and supports the other, more obvious one; and also allowing this unseen world to be taken into account as the one vitally important factor. You are also now recognizing the extent of the massive transformation that you are finding yourself in the midst of, and the illusions that must be shed along the way as well as the pain of parting from what you are leaving behind. The Last Quarter Moon of Tuesday, May 24th, is a very important time of summing up what you have gleaned from your current situation and the arc of your difficult progress thus far. You are connected now more than ever to a magical sense of oneness with everyone and everything around you, and committed to seeing yourself through. All that shines for you now is not the false glitter of financial reward or of outer achievement, but the true gold of inner worth and soul development.
