Virgo Horoscope (August 23 - September 22)
Mutable Earth. Your ruling planet is Mercury.

This is an excellent month for you, Virgo, especially if you enjoy being shot out of a cannon. After a period of relative stagnation, there are changes that you are now ready to make and multifaceted talents to dive into. A fundamental instability at the very core of your being is scary but productive. Even though the outcome is uncertain, there is no time like the present for exploiting your opportunities and moving forward. You are still held back by perhaps too great a reliance on the solid ground of what you already know, so that the progress that you seek must stitch together all your assets, including past beliefs and impossible dreams and longings. Once you get over your natural hesitation, it is a vibrant and exciting future that awaits you.

As the month begins, you find yourself quite busy with real-world concerns, and yet also somehow called to a deeper meaning. You are definitely enjoying the energy of this very powerful Solar Eclipse in your career sector, and also have the sneaking feeling that you are focused on outer achievement to the point of distracting yourself from what is truly going on inside you. There is a way that you are transforming your approach to others and to yourself so that your sense of your own identity is shifting even as you act outwardly with seeming confidence upon the world stage. There is a journey that you are taking that is down as well as up, and that leads you closer to your true Self. Your task over these next few weeks is to discern the extent to which your activities match up with this inner process of discovery. The energy of the New Moon and Solar Eclipse carries you far. You are coming into a new inner alignment with your highest purpose for yourself and you can feel that it is the wave of the future for you. And yet you are simultaneously held back by what you believe to be possible. A poet once said that only by ignoring the seeming limitations of the cave of our beliefs in which we are encapsulated and imprisoned can we accomplish the truly remarkable feat of transcending them; for then, "a graceful error may correct the cave." With the First Quarter Moon of Wednesday, June 8th, you are facing the complications and conflicts inherent in what you are attempting, and making valuable course corrections that will enable you to overcome these seeming contradictions. You are very idealistically motivated right now and yet are at times uncertain of your ability to deliver the goods. You might also have an inclination to put significant partners up on a pedestal these days and could unexpectedly find that they have their feet of clay. It helps to relax and just breathe – allowing the fundamental beneficence of the universe to hold sway. The Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon takes place a week later, on Wednesday, June 15th, and it presents you with the impulse for truly balancing the various energies in your life, inner and outer, practical and far-out woo-woo, public and personal, self and other. Home and family issues come into the picture now, perhaps in the form of a saving grace. With the Last Quarter Moon of Thursday, June 23rd, you are reflecting profitably on everything that has gone down in this month's cycle thus far, while imagining the developmental changes that could be forming up on your horizon. Your vision for what you could yet become is as strong as ever, and although you can put off needed changes for as long as you are able, it will eventually come. Another potent month awaits you along the tides of this climactic summer, and the powerful pressures for massive transformation grow if anything more intense.
