DURATION IN HOUSE

A planet's duration in house refers to the amount of time it spends transiting through one of the twelve houses in a chart. This duration shapes how long a planetary influence is focused on a particular area of life, such as career, relationships, or inner growth. Faster-moving planets may pass through a house in days or weeks, while slower planets can linger for months or even years.

In TimePassages, the House section shows each planet's current placement along with a date range representing when it is within one degree of that house. This range begins when the planet approaches within one degree of entering the house and ends when it has moved one degree beyond leaving it. You'll also see the exact dates when the planet enters the current house (in direct motion crossing the cusp) and when it leaves the house (in retrograde motion crossing the cusp), marking the precise moments of transition between houses.
