This is an interesting month for you, Scorpio, when you are drawn to private interior realms more directly than to any form of outer world commitment. You are continuing to decide where to put your energies, heading into an uncertain future. A deeply transformational impulse that motivates you has been operating at largely unseen levels and is now coming closer to consciousness. You have a potentially over-idealized attitude about your own self-expression, and while you feel like contributing to the societal evolution that you can see active all around you, you are also a bit confused about where to plug yourself in. Partners provide a rich context for continued investigative curiosity, and for the reality of change. You have a terrific opportunity now to dig down and align yourself with the interior values that are yours and yours alone, operating at the deepest layers of your being.
As the month begins, you are riding the wave of the recent Sagittarius New Moon from just before the start of December, which provided energy for developing a better sense of psychological security than you have been feeling from sources external to yourself. Your own private sphere of activity, in your home environment, is emphasized in the astrological currents swirling about you now. There has lately been much food for thought, rising up from deep within you, so that you are intent on confirming an inner mandate that has been building up on the inside. This is over and above any outer pressures, or the strictures of consensus thinking.
As the month continues to develop, your attitude shifts to a more pragmatic approach of finding what works. With the Mercury Retrograde period that settles in on December 19th, you are exploring your creative activities more deeply, and also attempting to discern your true goals amidst the choices that present themselves. The Winter Solstice of December 21st will be an important time. Journaling the multiplicity of ideas that come to you now, as Mercury also begins to move in the backward direction, is highly recommended. Communicating your ideas to others around you in addition to yourself, especially to important partners in your life, also proves extremely rewarding as you go through this extremely significant last third of the month. You are in essence finding out what you most deeply feel as your ongoing mission statement, which you are taking to a whole new level.
