Virgo Horoscope for September 2019

Posted on August 31, 2019 by Henry Seltzer of ASTROGRAPH.COM

is a big month for you, Virgo. The New Moon in your sign from just before September began gives you renewed energy lasting throughout the month, expanding your impression of who you are, and your evolving self-expression and worldview. As you look out upon the world around you and try to make sense of it, you are also looking deep within yourself. There is a necessary balance there and you are exploring it. You are experiencing a sense of mystical possibility and as well limitation, a parenthesis around the magic of what you can actually accomplish, and yet even these constraints also foster creativity within the limits of your assessments. Home and family concerns loom large and can be a healing factor. After mid-month, partnership and intimacy issues and idealizations both plague and benefit you, the more so the more you can relax and let your ideas flow. Holding onto the past is a false sense of security in the context of unexpected opportunities and new ways of seeing.

The following was written by our resident monthly columnist Adam Elenbaas of The Nightlight Astrology School

The month begins with your ruling planet, Mercury, in your home sign and first house moving into a trine with Uranus in Taurus in your ninth house. At the same time, Mars is at the heart of the Sun in your first house, creating a rare cazimi configuration. The recent New Moon in your sign, from August 30th, was also quite powerful and should give you plenty of energy for coming more fully into yourself as the month continues to unfold. You are feeling empowered right now, perhaps eager to start something new, to return to school, to travel, or to begin a new health regimen. This energy will last nearly all month, so be sure that you capitalize on the strength and inspiration that the universe is granting you, and that the God of War and Action is providing as you begin this important journey of inner discovery.

Between September 2nd and 4th, Venus in Virgo will then oppose Neptune in Pisces in your seventh house of relationships, emphasizing themes of romance and love, friendships and the need to create or establish healthy boundAries.

Between September 8th and 12th, the Sun and Mars in Virgo will both move through squares to Jupiter in Sagittarius in your fourth house of home, family, property, and parents. You are likely becoming more independent right now, or stronger in some way, but you may also be receiving some support from your parents or family, or you may be trying to understand how to individuate while also staying connected to what is valuable and good in relation to your past or your roots. Take your time and allow for the inspiration of the moment to encourage you to make the appropriate changes without creating any anxiety or recklessness.

Between September 13th to the 14th, Mercury and Venus will then conjoin in your home sign of Virgo and then move together into Libra and into your second house of money and resources. Watch for agreements, negotiations, new contracts or purchases, as well as the themes of peace and communication, harmony, love, justice, balance, and intelligence or learning.

On The late evening of September 13th, the Full Moon in Pisces will fall in a close conjunction to Neptune in your seventh house of relationships. At this time, as well, feisty Mars will closely oppose Neptune providing the potential for confusion or illusion regarding partnership considerations. Even as you are doing so much individuating this month, the topic of relationships as well as love, boundAries and surrender are also pronounced. Make sure you are finding the right balance!

Between September 21st and 22nd, Jupiter in Sagittarius in your fourth house of home, family, and parents, will square Neptune in Pisces in your seventh house of relationships. For the past year, growth and changes at home and in your family have been slowly shifting your sense of identity and purpose in the world and within all your most intimate relationships. The miracle of this moment is thus in the opportunity you are being given to find a more faithful, optimistic, and emotionally invested place from which to approach your relationships, both within your family, and with your close friends or loved ones.

On September 23rd, the Sun will then move into Libra, crossing through the gateway of the Fall Equinox and entering your second house of finances and money, where it will stay for the next thirty days, bringing greater intelligence, balance, and harmony to your relationships.

Between September 25th and 26th, Venus in Libra in your second house will then square Saturn in Capricorn in your fifth house of joy, creativity, and children, just as Mercury in Libra is also squaring Pluto in Capricorn. This transit may be somewhat harder for your relationships, perhaps especially with your children, or it may ask you to take a deeper look at your finances as you are also considering future obligations or responsibilities. Whatever the case might be, look for a balance between the real and the ideal, and be willing to make smart compromises.

Finally, on September 28th, the New Moon will fall in Libra in your second house of money and resources, adding further emphasis to the importance of your work, livelihood, bills, and investments of your time, energy and resources. This will be true over the next thirty days of the lunar cycle, lasting almost through to the very end of October.
