Gemini Horoscope for November 2020

Posted on October 30, 2020 by Henry Seltzer of ASTROGRAPH.COM

This is another amazing and intense month for you, Gemini, as the headlines, and your own intuition, would indicate. Additionally, your ruler Mercury is still in retrograde as the month begins, and due to change to direct motion by the day of the US election, November 3rd. You will likely experience this day as a distinct shift in the psychological weather, with inward-looking attitudes yet remaining for another two weeks or so, until the 19th. You are, all this year, delving deep into your own inner core. Furthermore, in this recent introspective mode, you have been thinking and re-thinking your concept of service to others and to the surrounding collective, while evaluating your own creative self-expression along these same lines: how can I make the most significant contribution to the social matrix that gives me being, by utilizing my most valuable talents and my clearest bottom-line principles for its ultimate benefit? It is a large question, with a very large answer, that will take time to fully understand and inhabit.

You might still be reeling from the energetic Full Moon in Taurus that took place on October 31st and that kept many people awake through the night. This lunation, associated with the vast hidden depths of your unconscious psyche, affected you in ways that are still developing within you for this entire month, or more. You may also be starting the month of November with the need to do whatever you want, and forget about what other people think. You may feel the need to disconnect from the world and reconnect with what makes YOU happy and feeling safe.

The recent New Moon in Libra from mid-October made it clear that you need more fun in your life, and it won’t be coming from anybody else but you. Your ruling planet, Mercury, stationing direct in Libra on November 3rd is good news. If you’ve felt anxious in the last few weeks you may now be in a better position to pinpoint what is bothering you and deal with it. The need to define and assert your boundaries with others may also be coming up. Mercury in Libra squares Saturn in Capricorn during its station to direct motion, right up until November 7th, and through it all reminds you of the importance of saying no. A situation that has been dragging on since late September may finally get resolved during this first week of November. If not fully resolved there can be progress, and this might be a question of clearly stating your intent, and defining the role you are willing to play versus what feels ill-suited.

Your hesitancy to get involved in a group dynamic to avoid conflict may be highlighted around the second week of November when Venus in Libra opposes Mars retrograde in Aries. You may want to know here that you can trust your gut feeling if something doesn’t feel right. Mercury re-entering Scorpio on the 10th represents another confirmation that you need to prioritize your well-being. There is no need to nail yourself to a cross for something that is not yours to fight. You may need to deal with the anxiety you feel and give yourself permission not to care. Get to the root of what is bothering you and deal with it. Make a clean cut.

The New Moon occurs in the sign of Scorpio late on the 14th, or in the early morning hours of the 15th, only two days after Mars stations direct in Aries. You may be slowly emerging from a holding pattern that has held you hostage over the last several months. Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn are both sextile to the New Moon sending a powerful message about who you can trust versus who has crossed too many of your boundaries. If something is not sitting right, it’s time to trust your gut feelings. Don’t shy away from adopting new ways of interacting with others, ways that are more aligned with your needs. This New Moon in Scorpio also offers a potent reset regarding your health. It could feel easier to implement a better routine now. Mercury in Scorpio opposing Uranus in Taurus on the 17th could bring up a feeling of restlessness. Taking care of your body can help you ground yourself during these transitional times.

Venus enters Scorpio and the Sun enters Sagittarius on November 21st which should help brighten up the mood considerably in your interactions with others. You may find a renewed sense of camaraderie that had been lacking recently. The Sun traveling in Sagittarius until December 21st illuminates your partnerships, and with Mars transiting direct in Aries in your social sector you could have more energy for socializing.

Mercury in Scorpio trine Neptune in Pisces may stir up your caring side and your need to dedicate yourself to a higher purpose around the 23rd or the 24th. However, Mercury sextile Pluto, Jupiter, and then Saturn by the 30th is your call to remain pragmatic in all your dealings at the risk of losing yourself in the problems of other people.

You may need to adjust your stance during the last weekend of the month leading to the Lunar Eclipse taking place early morning of November 30th in your sign of Gemini. This first official eclipse of the winter season brings attention to your needs, your body, and your desires. Partnership will also come into the picture of this long-lasting lunation in terms of the effects, coloring your relationship dynamic into 2021. Once again this may be your call to prioritize your well-being by allowing yourself to say no. Saying no doesn’t mean that you don’t care about the people in your life. Learning to establish your boundaries is simply a part of getting where you want to be by redirecting your energy on your goals. It’s also proof that you respect yourself enough not to waste time and energy on the problems of others. This may be a difficult thing to apply in actuality but with the eclipse on the Gemini/Sagittarius axis for another year you will get plenty of opportunities to work on these issues.
