Virgo Horoscope for January 2021

Posted on December 31, 2020 by Henry Seltzer of ASTROGRAPH.COM

This month sees you through another somewhat difficult passage, Virgo, which also has room for introspection that will eventually pave the way for your next stage. You are simultaneously more fully invested than ever in investigating the possibility for relationship to blossom forth in your life. There is an element of idealism in this picture, and you should add a dose of caution as you can find the place for it. Adventures in intimacy lead you to unexpected realizations, and your task is to stay as open as you can to possibility. There is a way as you continue this exploration that your fundamental beliefs are opening up, and that your learning curve heightens your burgeoning self-awareness. You are deep diving to the inside all the while, greatly augmented at the very end of January by the retrograde of Mercury, your ruler. As Mercury slows you are also mulling over your mission of service to others. Your creativity is stimulated and transforming, especially during the month’s second half. The eventual consequences of all these inner meanderings are, in the end, quite telling for your emerging future self.

Happy New Year, dear Virgo, and welcome to 2021! Your head could be in the clouds at the very beginning of January. Mercury sextiles otherworldly Neptune in Pisces on the 1st, highlighting a creative project or a romantic scenario. You may well be dreaming about what you would like to accomplish this year. We are living in uncertain times but with this aspect you could be feeling a sense of peace as we transition into the New Year. There are still a million things on your to-do list – however you also have a great capacity for relaxation and joy at the moment. You are thinking about home and family concerns. A domestic or a romantic situation, for example, which could have outlived its purpose, perhaps. Things are becoming increasingly clear. The recent Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius from mid-December could have brought the focus you needed, especially when it comes to your home or your intimate relationships. Once you see the issue, things begin to sort themselves out. They could take time to change, but you have the patience to witness the process. Venus in Sagittarius transiting in your home sector near the South Node of the Moon could feel like you are ready to let go and trust what is unfolding.

On the 4th, Mercury conjunct Pluto in Capricorn could find you briefly obsessing over a romantic partner or a project you’ve been working on. Your consciousness is there regarding your creativity and the ways that that is changing. Put attention is on what brings you happiness, and you are ready to invite more joy into your life. Mars leaves Aries on the 6th and enters Taurus, representing your Higher Mind sector, which brings support for your visions and expanded worldview. This is after a six-month emphasis that has been there on shared assets and the contracts that bind you to others. Big ideas that have been simmering may suddenly feel close at hand. Mercury enters Aquarius on the 8th and squares Mars, stimulating ideas while perhaps also making you aware of the logistical issues surrounding what you want to achieve. Venus enters Capricorn on the same day, where it will transit until the end of the month. Venus in Capricorn brings support to your sign with a trine aspect and can boost your creativity. Your desire for connection and love could be highlighted all month and it may be a good time to deepen a romantic scenario. Venus trine Mars in Taurus in this second weekend of the month can bring up your long term commitment to a project or to someone.

Mercury, your ruler, conjuncts Saturn in Aquarius on the 10th, Jupiter on the 11th and squares Uranus in Taurus on the 12th. There could be a tendency during this week to lose yourself in a labyrinth of logistical issues or health concerns. Saturn and Jupiter now firmly in Aquarius emphasize your health and habits in 2021. You may have some ambitious resolutions for the year ahead, and you will have the stamina to see them through. Uranus in Taurus on the other hand indicates an urge to get more experimental with your thinking and even with your habits. You may need more space to be on your own and try different ideas.

The Capricorn New Moon this month takes place on the 12th, and is conjunct Pluto, the planet associated with transformation and rebirth. This New Moon occurs in your creative and romantic sector once again highlighting the need to shed some heaviness and bring a more playful approach to what you love. The Capricorn New Moon brings incentive to realign with your original love whether artistic, romantic or related to your children. Pleasure and productivity can co-exist but it’s important to recalibrate the dosage especially if what used to be pleasurable has become too mundane.

Uranus in Taurus turns direct on the 14th and receives a square from Jupiter on the 17th offering exciting perspectives surrounding health and nutrition. You may be searching for alternative medicine to deal with your health or simply be interested in expanding your knowledge while adopting a more holistic approach to wellness. The Sun entering Aquarius on the 19th could have you thinking about your vitality especially when the Sun conjuncts Saturn on the 22nd and the 23rd. It’s a good idea to take things slowly at this time and avoid stressing yourself out, especially with things over which you have no control.

The Full Moon in Leo on the 28th represents a culmination of the month and its cycle of change for you, and could help you shed light on outmoded patterns surrounding your day-to-day habits, or your ambitions, versus your need for tranquility. These things that are not always reconcilable. You may sometimes have a tendency to put too much on your plate which in turn creates a lot of physical tension as you try to get everything done. This Full Moon in Leo is a perfect opportunity to get clear about your underlying motivations and how these may be affecting your well-being.
