Libra Horoscope for July 2021

This month is one of forward momentum, Libra, after the meditation, review, and introspection of the previous weeks of the Mercury Retrograde timing. The first week of July represents the final stages of the retrograde shadow, so that there will likely be a feeling of renewal with the Cancer New Moon of July 9th, taking place in your career sector. This represents for you a fresh start with all things, including your self-development, professional progress, and the relationship work that you have been long engaged in. There is also the distinct possibility that inner wounding, the residue of long-buried early trauma, could come up for you, and please note that this is something to welcome rather than to fear. The way this works, anything from past trauma that is left unattended to, perhaps due to shame or avoidance of painful memories, tends to fester and present problems, inhibiting the free expression of your true self, so that by paying attention to the hurt child that remains there, deep inside, you can ultimately achieve miraculous growth and healing.

The June Solar Eclipse in Gemini brought a powerful reset in the part of your chart that relates to learning. New opportunities to expand your knowledge may have been presenting themselves or you may be in a position to share more extensively your skills with the world. Traveling could also be on your mind as the month begins and this may be a busy time for you.

The month of July opens with a tense aspect between Mars in Leo and Saturn in Aquarius which may bring a pressure to actualize some of your goals. You may be more actively looking to carve your place in a particular community and you may be hard at work with finalizing a project. You could have to divide your time between social obligations and your personal projects and this may also bring a certain amount of stress which might actually help you get moving. It may, however, be difficult to reconcile your career objectives with the need of a particular partnership as the Sun in Cancer squares Chiron in Aries on the 4th. Fundamental differences may come to light between your current needs and the demands of someone which may create a certain amount of unresolved tension. Support may come from unexpected places, however, so keep your options open as you navigate the first week of the month.

Pleasure and duty collide as Venus in Leo opposes Saturn in Aquarius on the 5th and 6th. You may feel torn between your goals and the actual amount of effort required. Putting your nose to the grindstone may be required at this time but your effort will pay off in the long run. Venus in Leo square Uranus in Taurus three days later may bring a pleasant surprise that could either cheer you up or throw a curveball in your carefully laid plans. Again, staying open and flexible to what is being presented to you at this time could ensure your success in the long run.

The Cancer New Moon taking place on July 9th brings the beginning of a new cycle related to your career or your vocation. New ideas are emerging in terms of what you want to birth into the world to align more authentically with what is calling you at this time. You may feel both inspired but also confronted by the incompatibility of your aspirations and a particular relationship. You may have a hard time expressing your authentic needs to someone which could leave you feeling frustrated or misunderstood. Harmony is very important to you but you may have to prioritize yourself in order to find the nourishment and satisfaction you crave.

Mercury enters Cancer on the 11th bringing momentum in your career sector for the next three weeks. Venus and Mars conjunct in Leo from the 10th to the 14th could bring exciting opportunities or you may be busy attending various social functions. Your goals are highlighted at this time and you may have a powerful urge to succeed. The Sun in Cancer trine Neptune in Pisces may bring an inspiring influence mid-month but it may pass unnoticed, especially if you are being pulled in too many directions.

The Sun in Cancer opposing Pluto in Capricorn on the 17th is a powerful transit, accompanied by the First Quarter Moon this same day. This could bring a situation at home or in your career that relates to a difficult power dynamic. Disagreements could lead to hurt feelings when Mercury in Cancer squares Chiron in Aries a few days later on the 18th and 19th but misunderstanding could be avoided by addressing the issue honestly. Mercury square Chiron may highlight an ongoing tension between you and someone elsewhere one person is completely uncommunicative leading to frustrations or confusions. There may be hidden elements coming to light as Mercury sextile Uranus in Taurus on the 20th so be ready to turn on a dime.

Venus enters Virgo on the 21st where it will transit until mid-August highlighting your inner critic and your high standards. This may not be entirely a bad thing but you might have to guard against your perfectionist tendencies if you want to get any work done. Tempering your need to have everything perfect, including yourself, will help you move through this period with greater ease while achieving what you set out to do.

The Sun enters Leo on the 22nd. As a result, you are more focused on your social contacts and groups that you espouse, and also your goals and plans for the future continuing for the next thirty days.

The Full Moon culminates a day later in the sign of Aquarius illuminating a tension between your own creative genius and the need for it to be recognized socially. This Aquarius Full Moon could also highlight an inability to let loose or have fun unless everyone is on board with you. You may feel a certain level of alienation related to pleasure if it is not readily available or if no one is around to celebrate with you. Ultimately, you are a social creature that often feels left out of the fun. The Full Moon in Aquarius could bring up this particular dichotomy between the need to follow your own passions while still wanting others to get passionate about what you love.

The end of the month sees Mercury entering Leo and Jupiter returning to Aquarius while Mars enters Virgo on the 29th. Mercury in Leo until the 11th of August will continue to bring many opportunities to socialize and connect with like-minded people while Jupiter in Aquarius may prompt you to return to something that was left on the back burner at the beginning of May. You may feel more introspective as Mars transit in Virgo until mid-September and the next several weeks contain a mixture of hard work and contemplation towards the achievement of your goals.
