This month is another powerful one for you Libra, the more so the more you can keep your eye on the prize of your own evolutionary transformation. The important relationships in your life are one key; these surprisingly turn out to provide a vital link toward guiding you home. Difficulties that might arise in the arena of partnership connection provide improved understanding of your journey and your priorities – a jiu-jitsu trick of figure-and-ground reversal and one you can unexpectedly pull off. You are attempting to comprehend your future in many different ways, with potential confusion surrounding where exactly you are heading. As you are tempted by any one of these, and then with another, you must employ discernment and that depends on an accurate assessment of your true goals. Namely you must choose in the direction of your most basic bottom-line principles. You have perhaps sought high and low for enlightenment, only to ultimately find it within yourself. Prospective plans unfolding before you have a creative twist that involves new dimensions of intimacy with others and, more significantly, with yourself.

The New Moon in Cancer from mid-July signaled the beginning of a new cycle in your career and professional life. The fresh start that it represented in this important sector of your chart might have brought an influx of opportunities to expand your reach. This flow continues into the first week of the current month, when there will transpire something of a summing up of these sorts of experience, and when you may be tying issues of your work in the outer world to the way that your creativity expresses itself in other dimensions including with social goals that you favor.
On August 1st itself, you may be preoccupied with time constraints or deadlines that demand a lot of your attention. The Sun conjunct Mercury in Leo on the 1st may bring clarity related to your current social obligations however Saturn opposing the pair from the sign of Aquarius highlights a tension between your personal projects and your responsibilities. Your desire to have fun and do what you love may feel harder to actualize right now but you have to remember your long-term goals. Every step along the way counts in shaping your dreams and the disparate ideas or projects you are currently working with will create a beautiful tapestry over time. Mercury meeting the Sun in Leo should help you clarify your aspirations but you may still have to contend with a host of unknown factors. Venus currently transiting in Virgo may bring out the perfectionist in you but the trine from Venus to Uranus in Taurus on the 2nd can potentially help you break away from your self-imposed limitations and step into a more creative flow.
The second week of the month begins with the Leo New Moon in Leo on August 8th which is also squaring Uranus in Taurus. This New Moon therefore carries an innovative influence for your dreams and aspirations and you might also have to account for the unpredictability of your partnerships when delineating your intentions. While a steady resolve is necessary for the accomplishment of your goals, flexibility will be paramount especially when dealing with others who may throw some wildcards on the table.
You may have a harder time defining your boundaries with others as Venus in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces from the 8th to the 9th. This aspect could bring out your empathic or romantic side and might also wind up as somewhat confusing to your your aim. You may also be feeling introspective as your attention turns towards more spiritual or mystical experiences. Transformation is happening under the surface and you may have less patience for mundane responsibilities.
On August 11th, Mercury enters Virgo where it is at home, and where it will be for the next three weeks. This period might represent the onset of a need for solitude and quiet time to help you process recent experiences and take stock. With Venus trining Pluto on the same day, however, your desire for intensity and passion especially in a romantic sense might also be awakened. Much of this could be taking place in the shadows or remained acknowledged.
On the 15th, Venus enters your sign. Venus transiting there until September 10th could help bring your desires to the surface in the following weeks and it may feel easier to prioritize your well-being. Relationships could become one focal point although self-development and considerations of identity are also key. You also may also have less patience or tolerance for others when Mercury conjoins Mars in Virgo on the 18th. There will likely be many opportunities for you to socialize in mid-August and you may also be experiencing a certain amount of underlying anxiety that is hard to locate. It could be that you are overthinking a situation or that your desire to get everything just right is slowing you down and creating extra tension.
A second Full Moon in Aquarius takes place on the 22nd, the first one having occurred 30 days ago in late July, when the Sun was only beginning its Leo timing. This time, as the Sun prepares to exit the sign of Leo, there could be something of a culmination and a summing up of the past thirty days, when you have been engaged in seeing how you can make a dent on the society around you. The Full Moon is conjunct Jupiter in late Aquarius, which may bring important progress in your creative work or in a romantic scenario. After a long process, you may finally be able to see the shape of a project coming to light. The Sun enters Virgo later that day signaling the beginning of the mutable season when things are in a state of flux. You may continue to take stock of this past year in the following weeks and you may be feeling that change is in the air without being able to know exactly where things are heading.
Venus in Libra trine Saturn in Aquarius from the 22nd to the 23rd may bring a sober and practical influence to your relationships. You could be feeling serious and dedicated at this time, and expecting the same from partners or collaborators. It may be easier to ask for what you need right now, although you could also be setting up unrealistic standards or expecting too much, especially in a coupe of days when Mercury in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces on the 24th.
The last week of the month contains a combination of introspective and extraverted influences and you may find yourself feeling both social, and also in need of occasional periods of solitude. Mercury enters Libra on the 29th where it will turn retrograde at the end of September. For the next several weeks until that time, Mercury in your sign should help you get your message across and communicate your needs and your ideas more openly.
