Virgo Horoscope for September 2021

Posted on August 30, 2021 by Henry Seltzer of ASTROGRAPH.COM

This is an exciting month for you, Virgo, not only is the September 6th New Moon taking place in the middle of your sign, but you also have a strong hit of the Trickster Uranian energy that comes along with it, so that almost anything can happen. As they say, you benefit from expecting the unexpected at this time; with a rapidly changing sense of personal identity and worldview, and with a great deal of further transformation accompanying this, your birthday time of the year. You are in some ways finding yourself in service to others right now, although you must always remember that it is yourself that you are discovering in that process.  You are making a fresh and more deeply considered start with your resources and your values. In that same department of your life, in the sign of Libra, there is also to consider the retrograde of your ruler, Mercury, near month’s end. By the 26th, when Mercury stations to start its Retrograde Period, lasting through October, you might find yourself questioning your approach to resources and finances as part of your evolutionary journey into greater wholeness.

Although the Sun is well into your sign of Virgo by the time September arrives, you may still be feeling the contemplative wave that came along with the New Moon in Leo from early August. A period of deeper introspection has characterized the previous month and you could be slow at the very beginning of September to emerge from your reveries. Warrior planet Mars, transiting in your sign at the beginning of the month, brings increased vitality. However, Mars comes into an opposition with watery Neptune in Pisces from the 1st to the 3rd, throwing a veil of confusion or distraction as well upon your will power. It may feel easier not to think too much in these first days of the month with the energy of Neptune scattering your attention all over the place. You could find yourself idealizing a partner or perhaps experiencing confusion. Certain details could be evading you in a relationship connection and you may be oscillating between what your gut is telling you versus wanting to ignore that information.

The New Moon in Virgo takes place on September 6th and is your cue to reset your overall attitude. This is especially so when it comes to your own needs, your desires, and your sense of self-worth. This is the perfect opportunity to recommit to prioritizing yourself. You after all cannot wait around for people to give you what you need. The New Moon also trines Uranus in Taurus and brings an exciting edge for all things that take you out of the beaten path. You benefit now from being willing to break the old assumptions that keep you stuck inside what you think you should be doing. There is a lot of momentum to revolutionize your perspective at this time and the more you engage with your curiosity, the more likely you are to find new avenues and opportunities for growth. Mercury is transiting in Libra corresponding to your resources sector and also rules over your sign, and this lunation, highlighting your income and the values you espouse. You may have to keep in mind that what is being seeded at this time could need subsequent refinement and patience. However, don’t shy away from the work and logistics that are needed for you to gain more financial autonomy.

Venus enters Scorpio on the 10th, lasting until the first week of October, which brings an excellent opportunity for research and communication. Your interactions with others could well be more fluid and it may be easier to address difficult topics.

The Sun in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces on the 13th and 14th and this is an important marker for you and could bring up complicated circumstances around a partnership once again. It might be hard right now to get the truth out of someone and you may have to wait later this month for clarifications.

Mars enters Libra on the 14th where it will re-emphasize your resources and personal assets, while the Sun in Virgo trines Pluto in Capricorn from the 16th to the 17th could highlight change and transformation in your creative projects. Once again, there is a lot of momentum this month for your personal projects and your overall direction and this is not the time to compromise on your integrity.

The Full Moon in Pisces takes place on September 20th and brings a culmination related to your partnerships and issues of self and other. You may be able to untangle a complicated situation and gain some clarity surrounding a relational dynamic. Your pragmatic side may feel compelled to ignore the details that are bothering you in order to make something work. However, you may have to assess if it’s worth the effort at this time or if it is slowing you down. Mercury in Libra trine Jupiter in Aquarius in this Full Moon could also bring joy and expansion to a logistical or a financial situation that is tied to a partnership. This aspect will occur once more at the beginning of November.

The Fall Equinox takes place on September 22nd as the Sun leaves Virgo to enter the sign of Libra for a total of three planets now moving through the sign of the scales. From the 22nd to the 23rd, Venus in Scorpio in your communications sector opposes Uranus in Taurus which may bring some new and exciting perspectives, especially if you can stay as open as you can to thinking outside of the box. Libra season may also find you recalibrating how much you are willing to share with others.

Mercury stations retrograde in Libra on the 26th where it will continue to move retrograde until the 18th of October, and then two weeks longer as Mercury regains its lost Zodiacal ground, a time known as Mercury’s retrograde shadow. The entire Mercury Retrograde period brings questioning of your values, and may also many opportunities to refine your budget and address any logistical issues arising at this time. You can make progress towards financial autonomy in the following weeks especially if you’re willing to put in the extra hours needed to refine your vision.
