This is quite an interesting month, Aquarius, a month when both your rulers, Saturn and Aquarius, are prominent and in a divisive square aspect with each other. The meaning of this is subtle, and reflects the fullness of your growing self-understanding in many diverse ways. It could be that part of you longs for the comfort of habitual patterns, while another persona within your psyche wants to jump the tracks of existing limitations and try for innovative new ideas. As Whitman puts it, you contain multitudes. You are also thoughtful throughout October regarding your worldview and your values, perhaps your activism for causes you espouse. This is further complexified by the retrograde of Mercury that resolves somewhat at its station to direct motion on October 2nd, a time that further emphasizes the rewards of inner work. Mercury gradually straightens out over the next two weeks, when you will no longer be in a process of thoroughly questioning where you are coming from. The New Moon of October 25th represents a coming out party of sorts, when you succeed in entering a new stage of your evolutionary development.

The Libra New Moon that took place on the 25th of September affects the first three weeks of October as the thirty days of the Libra lunation cycle completes. This could be bringing forth a renewal within you for mental expansion and a desire to move out of your comfort zone. You could feel some restlessness as October begins, desiring new experiences while needing to break free from the same old routines. You may have the chance to align yourself towards greener pastures this month thanks to a host of positive influences that could symbolize new opportunities for you. Saturn is still transiting in your sign for a few more months, and you may feel the pressure of needing to spend your time wisely. You might not have the same flexibility towards situations or people who cannot offer lasting results right now and your priorities could be on your long term goals as it should. Another important element at this time can be related to a need to bring more passion and joy to your everyday life including your career. You may feel an internal pull to follow creative impulses or inspiration more wholeheartedly.
Mercury turns direct in Virgo on the 2nd and trines Pluto in Capricorn as it does, and this could clarify a hunch that has been in the back of your mind for quite some time. Over the following two weeks of Mercury’s retrograde shadow period, self-limiting beliefs or anxieties which have been undermining your well-being may be easier to transcend. You should feel a greater sense of peace and mental clarity returning as the first half of October unfolds.
The Aries Full Moon arrives on the 9th and illuminates the communication sector of your chart. This might bring to completion a project or an idea you have been working on, and could therefore be a satisfying moment when you may be able to harvest the fruits of your labor. You could also be feeling well-defined about your next objectives. A sense of lucidity and clear thinking can permeate this moment, especially in relation to what you are passionate about. Take advantage of this time to take stock of what you love and what you are ready to let go.
The week of October 10th should be a productive one that can help you delineate the next leg of your journey, especially in relation to where your passions are wanting to take you. Mercury returns to Libra after its retrograde time in Virgo which brings forth a synthesis of what has been gestating in the past few weeks. Over the next week you should feel more equipped with ample ability to make well-informed decisions aligned with heart and mind.
From the 18th through the 20th you may feel a sense of exhilaration, or maybe fear, as October progresses and both Venus and the Sun in Libra form a square with Pluto in your sector of dream imagination and inner work. A turning point or a cross-road moment might be around the corner. The Sun and Venus meet in Libra on the 22nd and ingress together into the sign of Scorpio on the 23rd, which is corresponding to your career sector. Themes surrounding pleasure, beauty, love, money, values and relationships are undergoing a moment of purification as Venus meets the solar rays.
A partial Solar Eclipse and New Moon takes place in Scorpio on the 25th. This represents your vocational sector and may bring an important reset in relation to your career trajectory over the following month and even for the next six. Because Venus is prominent there could be relationship or more private factors that contribute, or also your changing worldview may be involved.
Jupiter re-enters Pisces on the 28th where it was already transiting during the first five months of 2022. This re-entry of positive Jupiter energy into your financial sector may compel you to revisit your spending habits or the ways in which you manage your resources. More extensively, Jupiter in Pisces could bring up important realizations surrounding your sense of self-worth or where you might on the other hand be selling yourself short.
Mars turns retrograde in Gemini on the 30th, signaling the beginning of an extended period for revising things related to pleasure, certainty, and romance. This influence will take you well into the new year and should compel you to align more authentically in coming months with your true desires.
