This is a month of social activity and progress, Virgo, as you also take a deep dive to the inside of your psyche. The recent Cancer New Moon governing the July month featured Mars in your sign, while the New Moon illuminated your sector of friendship, group activities you favor, and long-term goals. That promises lots of action orientation, so much that you might need to avoid over-doing. Expansiveness does tend to run up against boundaries that it wasn’t looking for. Meanwhile, Saturn and Neptune are also greatly highlighted in this same New Moon configuration, at times putting an unexpected halt to the proceedings and turning process and progress inward. Mercury, your ruler, and located as the month begins to unfold in your sector of dream imagination, inner work, and the unconscious, adds power to this internal orientation, which is greatly exacerbated after the 17th which is when Mercury stations to retrograde motion for the remainder of the month. Before that, the Full Moon of the 10th stimulates your creativity, while the Last Quarter Moon of the 17th, while Mercury also turns retrograde on the same day, emphasizes inner wounding and its potential healing by a process of loving acceptance. The Mercury Retrograde period lasts until August 24th if you take the two-week post-retrograde shadow into account. All in all, July is a month of valuable and perhaps surprise learning, in the strangest of places, and most especially from your own deep inner process.

As you enter July, you’re deep into the afterglow of the recent New Moon in Cancer that governs most of the month ahead, with its energy helping you reach toward a new beginning touching on your sector of friends, community, and personal future goals, enhancing your understanding of your setting in the bosom of your larger social sphere. An exalted Jupiter is conjunct the Cancer New Moon and brings a native optimism to your goals and entanglement with groups you favor. Because Saturn and also Neptune, ruler of your opposite sign, are highlighted in this New Moon, plus transformational Pluto, this entire month promises to be a wild and changeful one, affecting your relationships and relationship commitment along with partnership agreements and your own intimate understanding of the unconscious depths within you.
With your planetary ruler Mercury moving through Leo throughout the month, corresponding to your sector of dream imagination, unconscious process, and internal healing, you could be especially attuned to a private spell of regeneration and rebirth. It’s possible you’ll be engrossed with gaining closure or concluding a story that is internal and private to yourself. You might need to pay special attention to confidentiality, and could find yourself involved places of confinement, or secret undertakings.
Mars in your zodiac sign and your identity sector lies in a harmonious sextile to that Cancer New Moon, so that this month represents tons of energy at your disposal, and a fresh start on seeing more fully who you really are. This month could also be an encouraging touchpoint regarding the company you keep, so that you are taking action as far as the social circles that you move in and your future goals.
On the 2nd. the First Quarter Moon arrives in Libra, emphasizing your resources, values, and the contribution you make resulting in feelings of self-worth. This time of the Sun and Moon in square alignment is also a point of tension, a minor crisis in deciding what action to be taking, given the focus on your friendships and societal intensions versus that of your finances or internal value system. The ruler of Libra, Venus, is with Uranus in late Taurus in your ninth house of publishing, wisdom, educational initiatives, or long-distance trave, and also affecting vocational choices. Your own development, knowledge and understanding could be apparent, as you push ahead in your role, with something valuable to give. Uranus gives the gift of perspective and unusual openings to new awareness with your career, projects, relationships, or the expertise that has allowed you to forge a unique standpoint.
Venus enters Gemini on the 4th, which could see you stepping up publicly, with visibility around your career, professional reputation, or profile. On this day too, Neptune stations retrograde in Aries and your intimacy sector, so that agreements, contracts, pacts or promises made could feel extra potent. What could be heightened is a reimagining of your mutual obligations, and an evolution of what you’re beholden to. There may be a spiritual component to the way that you evaluate long-term commitments, and your vulnerabilities.
Uranus then enters Gemini on the 7th, following Venus, in your tenth house of vocation, external image and profile. Venus and Uranus sync with Saturn and Neptune, and form a trine to Pluto in Aquarius, or your sector of health, daily habits, workplace settings and everyday maintenance. This planetary configuration might see you with attention on career choices and reputation, as well as how much that defines who you are, providing radical adjustments around the way you’re perhaps coupled with a formal yet inspired approach to partnerships. Changes could arrive suddenly around your aspirations, and how you advance through the world. Note that Uranus only spends about four months in the initial degrees of Gemini before returning to Taurus by retrograde on November 7th, re-entering Gemini on April 25th, 2026.
The Capricorn Full Moon arrives on the 10th, illuminating passion projects, your talents, creative expression, and any children in your life. With Saturn, the ruler of the Full Moon, in Aries and at a standstill, getting ready to retrograde, you’re perhaps guided to be aware of the responsibilities you have to other people, particularly given your artistic plans, projects, or any children that might be in your life. After this point, you might be prompted to re-strategize and re-envision what you’re building or doing in the spirit of togetherness, acknowledging what has your heart.
On the 17th, the Last Quarter Moon lands in Aries during which Mercury is stationing retrograde in Leo, your sector of inner work, indicating the beginning of an entirely introspective few weeks. This quarter Moon phase climaxes in your eighth house of bonds, internal exploration, mutual resources, and partnership agreements, and occurs with a sextile to relationship-oriented Venus. It might be prudent to pause, and to refine your approach to a process of acceptance, that perhaps includes catharsis, inner meditation, and healing – to really reflect. The retrograde period implies an introspective mode will overtake you, focused on internal matters more than outer, in some ways. Your changing outer image, goals, and successes – along with this studied inner orientation – emphasizes your values, resources, and issues of intimacy.
The Sun ingresses its domicile sign Leo on the 22nd, thus entering in your twelfth house of retreat, unconscious process, and inner work, giving you a strong indication that you can take your leave as necessary, devoting yourself to a few weeks of hibernation, quiet time or sacrifice. See this as a permission slip to unravel and consider escaping for rest and recuperation. You may experience a state of uncertainty or limbo, finding you’re called to manage others or put the wellbeing of a partner ahead of your own.
The Leo New Moon arrives on the 24th, loaded with dynamic aspects that draw on your window of inner contemplation and transition. The luminaries trine Saturn and Neptune, sextile Uranus, and oppose Pluto, so you might succumb to a bonding process and arrangement that fits with your ambitions or career trajectory. However, your daily functioning, physical constitution and healthy living might be a point of tension if you let others run the show. Additionally, Venus is square Mars in your sign during the New Moon, so that taking assertive action could add complexity to your reputation, and how you present yourself at large.
