The recent Cancer New Moon has set the tone for the first three weeks of July, with a generous emphasis on that sign, representing your tenth house of personal and professional success, aspirations and your public image. In this New Moon configuration, Jupiter is closely conjunct the Sun and Moon, amplifying themes of good fortune, leadership, and viability as applying to your vocational sector. A major new beginning could be in motion, with opportunities to expand on your career, reputation, title, or contra-wise, your notoriety. Pluto in Aquarius is powerfully aspected in this New Moon, so that your artistic creativity is in a process of significant change. Also highlighted in this New Moon configuration are Saturn and Neptune in close conjunction in the early degrees of your opposite sign of Aries, corresponding to your partnership sector. With Saturn there, things could be going slowly on the relationship front, and yet there will be important lessons. Neptune puts a different spin on things, on the one hand the potential for illusion or confusion to plague your awareness in this important area; if present, that would have to be dealt with, as you can, or else on the other hand there could emerge a spiritual and compassionate situation with an important person in your life that may be a truth that you will also have the opportunity to try to better understand over the course of this month as you integrate what you have going on.

In the New Moon chart, also, Mars is sextile the luminaries from its position in Virgo, or your twelfth house of unconscious process, and inner work, or retreat, where he will this month be giving energy to digging down into your depths. This internal exploration could be making a strong connection to your relationship situation, because Mars rules Aries. This work undertaken privately, inwardly, or behind closed doors could also align with your external goals, public life, ambitions or calling due to the focus of this New Moon. Supporting someone else, taking a backseat, or surrendering control could be a key to getting ahead.

Your understanding of investments, commitments, and whatever else you’re willing to come together on has likely been subject to change. There could be a degree of tension between identity, relationships, and your work in the world, and also the opportunity to create an amalgam of these several needs.

Venus enters Gemini on the 4th, in your ninth house of higher mind wisdom and beliefs or worldview, just as Neptune stations retrograde in Aries corresponding to your relationship sector. Venus finds harmony with Neptune and Saturn, and forms a trine to Pluto in Aquarius, or your sector of creative interests, passion projects, celebrations, children, and joy. It might be important to acknowledge progress made around parenting or a family matter, while also looking to a significant other. The Full Moon answers to Saturn in Aries, so you’re perhaps led towards unions and a partner, integrating realizations about the past, your inner landscape and stability with a new rulebook being forged. Saturn is at a standstill, getting ready to retrograde on the 12th, suggesting that a re-working of one-to-one connections. You could be firming up your approach to partnerships, coming to terms with limits and boundaries within interpersonal dynamics.

The Last Quarter Moon is in Aries on the 17th, in which configuration Mercury is stationing retrograde in Leo, and making a sextile to Venus. Because the Sun and Jupiter are presently guided by the Moon in Aries, you might sense the way you feel about success or a title rests with another person and their feedback. Relationships may be prominent, and it’s perhaps also important to pause and hear from your allies, reaching out to those that understand you, and more deeply looking into the path you’re on. Mercury retrogrades through Leo for the remainder of the month, and beyond, introducing an introspective period of questioning your participation in social structures and your future goals, which you might find yourself revising as you go further into the retrograde,

The Leo New Moon arrives on the 24th, highlighting this same area and offering a fresh start in your friendships, groups, and goals. This New Moon is very strong with a trine to Saturn and Neptune, a sextile to Uranus and an opposition to Pluto so that transformation is once again in the air for you and your plans, or your collective purpose, within the process of quietly tending your inner landscape.
