This is another month, Sagittarius, when outer planet combinations predominate, indicating transformative inner work that still goes on. As the month begins, Uranus is highlighted and placed at the very beginning of your opposite sign, indicating that there is a level of fresh novelty and intuitional revelation at work within your key relationships which could lead to unexpected changes there in one direction or another. Pluto also lies in close trine with Uranus, which might remind you of the rebellious and changeful 1960s, when they were conjunct, and is located in your sector of communication, curiosity and learning. It could be that you are beginning to recognize some serious alterations in the way that you articulate your innermost principles and for how you get your point across. Your stated principles and values come up for your more conscious attention as well over the course of this month and you may find that things go better when these are seen as fully independent from leftover early conditioning or modes of consensus thinking, instead emanating from strictly your own unique way of seeing things. Right from November’s start, you are drawn to the interior places behind your mind, buried deep within your unconscious process. This area is difficult to access – although your nighttime dreams can give you clues – and yet constitutes a vitally important factor strongly affecting your wellbeing. Due to the prominence of Chiron, the Wounded Healer, in close conjunction with Eris in the recent late Libra New Moon, being squared within a quarter of a degree by Jupiter, your ruler, located in your sector of intimacy and personal evolution, it’s possible that old issues from childhood could arise, perhaps in the context of connection with important others in your life. If so, these residues of early childhood trauma could be up for greater conscious acceptance by you and eventual healing. Jupiter stations retrograde on the eleventh, which magnifies his impact and brings all this home. Mercury begins on the 9th its weeks-long retrograde period, starting in your sign, conjunct Mars there, initiating as this climactic year winds down, a potent time of introspective questioning of everything that you are up to, including your sense of your very identity.

Partnerships of all kinds could be in a state of flux as this month according to the recent October New Moon which governs the first 18 days of this November month. This took place late in the sign of Libra signaling that relational dynamics and interpersonal partnerships are not only emphasized now but also energized and reevaluated. With Uranus being highlighted and also at the very first degree of the Gemini sign, your relationship sector, there could continue to be surprises there, or startling revelations that come to play a role in your growing understanding of your relational dynamics. People or issues might come along that are quite new, and you will have to make a determination as to how long they might last or continue to be important. Your social sector is being activated in this same timing which implies that for the first half of November, you may be quite busy either networking or keeping your end of a bargain with a partner although this effort might lead to issues that you did not know that were there within you, lurking. If inner wounding does indeed come up, your recognition and acceptance of walled-off or long-buried places within you can go a long way toward healing.

On the 1st and 2nd, Venus in Libra comes into her opposition with Chiron in Aries plus a simultaneous square with Jupiter in Cancer. This could mean that things could get stirred up on the social and interpersonal front, especially for members of your sign. Venus has been offering social grace and diplomacy but her ability to do that is somewhat confounded during this brief transit. The good news is that when inner wounding arises you can make serious progress in healing these types of issues, based on unresolved childhood trauma, by taking deliberate advantage of the opportunity to dig down into what they stem from, and how to be more accepting of your internal dark places.

Mars in Scorpio forms a trine with Neptune in Pisces on the 2nd and 3rd before it enters your sign on the 4th, forming a close opposition with Uranus in Gemini. This latter is an important moment because of the possibility of sudden impulse derailing the peace train. You will want to exercise good judgment throughout this entire transition. The Neptune factor could reference escapism, over-idealism, confusion, deception on the part of others or from yourself, and yet is also a beautiful blending of archetypes when encountered with grace and a loving acceptance that not everything is logical.

On the 5th, the Full Moon culminates powerfully in Taurus stimulating the part of your chart that relates to your health regimens, daily routines, and your workplace, and could represent the perfect opportunity to reassess your habitual behaviors at every level. If you have been consciously investing in your wellbeing, this Full Moon could find you reaping the rewards. There is also in this Full Moon configuration the powerful presence of Mars in the very beginning of your sign directly opposed to Uranus, so that surprises continue to be more likely than not. This juncture is a good time to beware of going all in on impulsive momentary ideas and yet the energy is there for new beginnings in self-realization, or with regard to partners, if that is what is ready to be happening. If you’ve been having a difficult time managing your stress or establishing good habits, this could be your cue to take a step back and re-evaluate your priorities in the way of taking better care of yourself. You may need to find your proper equilibrium between play and work, self and other, or fun versus duty.

Mars in your sign forming a sextile with Pluto in the Full Moon timing perfecting on the 6th could bring on more dogmatic or even combative communications. This is therefore another thing to try to be more aware of and to temper with good judgment. You might have to be mindful of trying to convince others of your point of view; and yet, on the other hand, your powers of persuasion could be magnified if you can use them wisely.

Venus moving into Scorpio on November 6th additionally forms a square with Pluto, lasting a day or two, into the 8th, highlighting power-dynamics of all kinds that could be taking place on an unconscious level. It might be harder than usual to see things objectively, and it may be a good moment to think twice before saying something you could regret later. This might be especially so right now as communication planet Mercury is very much slowing getting ready to turn retrograde.

Mercury begins its retrograde period in your sign on November 9th. It will be moving backward, entering Scorpio on the 18th, until the 29th when it stations to direct motion. The symptoms of retrograde Mercury, introspection, missed connections, and mechanical breakdowns, will not immediately let up, and will gradually fade over the following two and a half weeks, with Mercury escaping its post-retrograde shadow on December 16.

Jupiter, your ruler, follows suit and turns retrograde in Cancer on November 11th in the part of your chart that relates to business and intimate partnerships. It could be difficult to really know what someone else is thinking or what their intentions are right now but you may have to avoid jumping to conclusions as so many unknown factors are still in the works at this time.

From the 11th to the12th, Mercury Retrograde in your sign forms a conjunction with active and energetic Mars. This could spark further reflections and mental review that you may be having regarding your creativity or your passions. With plenty of drive for expressing yourself, you can also be very convincing about your opinions now, perhaps overly so; it may be hard to avoid being dogmatic with accepting only your own point of view. Keeping that in mind might allow you to find a positive and more balanced outlet for any ongoing frustrations that might surface.

The third week of November could be productive for things that need to happen in terms of inner work, leading to Mercury retrograding back into Scorpio on the 18th. Sorting out your priorities at home, in your domestic life, and spending time alone could be just what the doctor ordered. You may have to give yourself permission to step back from a lead role for a moment in order to take a breather, go inside, and double-check your safety net.

On the 19th, a powerful New Moon in Scorpio takes place in your soul sector and demands that what is unconscious be made more conscious. This also affects your own evolving sense of identity. This is as well a peak moment in the Mercury Retrograde period of time when Mercury is at the heart of the Sun. You might be making clarifying adjustments in the way you think about yourself. The retrograde in Scorpio is at the halfway point offering illumination for patterns that need releasing and it may be easier to see what is usually invisible to you. A new cycle begins now relating to your inner/outer amalgamation and blending. You might for example find that certain addictive behaviors – perhaps deeply ingrained – could be interfering with your sense of your own authenticity and begin to seek better ways to deal with your stress and frustrations.

After the potent late Scorpio New Moon, Mercury continues its retrograde motion, moving backward through your sector of unconscious process and inner work continues this dedication to inner exploration – sparked by the New Moon configuration as well – over the remaining ten days or so of November.

The Sun moving into your sign beginning on the 21st could feel like a gradual relief coming your way. Sagittarius Season kicks off with a positive vibe in that Mercury Retrograde, now at 25° Scorpio, lies in a tight grand trine with Jupiter at 24° Cancer and Saturn at 25° Pisces. This could bring up a fruitful combination of luck, freedom, and yet also limitations and lessons within your thought processes and involving important partnerships in your life, since both your vocational and your relationship sectors are ruled by Mercury. As the November month begins to close, you might be finding yourself reflecting on the connection between these sectors, perhaps how your work depends in part on your partnership connections to thrive, for example, or how you met someone that is currently close to you through career experiences. In any case, you will probably continue in this introspective mode through the station of Mercury to direct motion a week later, and the gradual winding down of the two weeks of the post-retrograde shadow period lasting into December.

In the month’s final week, Saturn turning direct in Pisces on the 28th might be further good news for you, this time regarding things related to your home and domestic matters. If you’ve had to put a pause on something that began earlier this month, be prepared for momentum to return by some point past mid-December. Mercury stationing direct in Scorpio on the 29th is another slow time, since the messenger planet will be literally standing still in the sky at that juncture, although things may be about to get moving faster in the following month. Even so, you might have to continue to make peace with things not being exactly the way you want them.
