This is an exciting month, Pisces, of digging down into your depths for the potential of renewal and change. The recent Libra New Moon from the last ten days of October strongly featured Pluto and Uranus in close trine and located in your sectors of unconscious process or inner work, plus home, family, and your psychological roots, so that there could be a constant flow of new material that continues to arise for you from sources of deep intuitional inner reality which is grist for your mill of internal realization and reevaluation. There could be surprises on the home front, or with your dwelling space, or arising from deep inner sources, and these could lead to powerful realizations contributing to important personal development. Your beliefs and worldview are also going through an important evolution. This project is greatly reinforced during November as well by Mercury turning to retrograde motion beginning on November 9th at the very top of your solar chart, corresponding to your vocational sector. The meditative and introspective stance of the Mercury Retrograde period can be characterized as reviewing, re-thinking, and potentially readjusting the basis for your choices in your working life or your public persona that are induced by these ongoing inner explorations that have been with you for several months by now. In this month, more specifically, there could be confrontations with the residue of ancient trauma stemming from early childhood that arise for better integration and healing. This process of working with inner wounding can be revelatory all on its own and can be tremendously significant in the progressive advancement of your most authentic presentation of yourself in both outer and more internal contexts.

November begins under the influence of the recent Libra New Moon from October 21st which kicked off the current thirty-day lunation cycle lasting through the first half of November. Your beliefs and worldview may become a hot topic for you now, along with issues of intimacy and of partnership agreements, whether business or personal. With Pluto configured to the New Moon by a square and with Uranus at the nadir of your solar chart also highlighted, there continue to be novel ideas and fresh surprises possible in your home life or with respect to your dwelling space. There could be significant intuitional revelations that come to you over the course of November. Your ruling planet, Neptune, in your sector of values and resources and in a tight same-degree sextile with Trickster Uranus, indicates that fluctuations in finances and sudden changes of fortune are a significant part of your November adventure. Saturn’s placement in your sign as well, and in a featured conjunction with Neptune in the recent New Moon, indicates that there are life lessons that are likely to come out of this situation as well, as there usually are when you take the time to stop and look for them.
On November 1st and 2nd, Venus in Libra forms an opposition with Chiron in Aries and a square with Jupiter in Cancer. This emphasizes your bonds, your commitments and the contracts you have with others along with any co-dependent patterns or the obligations and expectations that infringe on your autonomy. You may be aware of these dynamics and a willing participant although part of you could feel somewhat thwarted or craving more freedom.
The first week of November is a busy time with an early Full Moon and Mars in Scorpio making a trine with Neptune in Pisces before entering Sagittarius, corresponding to your vocational sector, and coming into an opposition with Uranus in Gemini on the 4th. You may have to contend with a lot of unknown factors professionally or at home. The Mars-Uranus opposition being so prominent in your solar chart is also a bit of a warning sign not to act on impulse, as these astrological factors would indicate, or you might wind up paying a price for hasty action. This is a time to think twice, in spite of any tendencies to the contrary, before making your moves.
The Full Moon lands in Taurus on November 5th and culminates in the part of your chart that relates to the way you communicate and share your ideas with others around you, plus increasing focus on your native curiosity and love of learning. In this mid-week timing as well. Neptune, your modern ruler, has slipped backward in retrograde motion into your sign, which could change the energy that you’re feeling around you in subtle ways. Neptune remains in sextile with Uranus at 0° of Gemini, and so there could be a continuation of surprises on the home front or in connection with your dwelling space. Your changing attitude toward inner work as an important component of your beliefs and worldview could be generating its own rewards, perhaps in terms of getting more comfortable with the idea that it could be time for addressing the issue of inner wounding, perhaps based on the traumas of early childhood, might be affecting your life from below the level of your consciousness. If such issues do arise over the course of this somewhat difficult month, the pathway ahead might be to give loving acceptance and caring to these residues of the hurt child within you that needs that kind of attention and love.
There is something very tangible about a Taurus Full Moon, the need to give shape to something and begin to see the concrete results for your efforts. Whatever feedback you are getting at this time, the potential is there for you to understand something more clearly which will help along towards the next leg of your journey.
On the 9th, Mercury in Sagittarius turns retrograde This period could find you reflecting on your beliefs, your passions or your vocational calling while contemplating the journey that might be required for you to give form to your vision. One thing is certain, you may not be able to ignore any longer those things that resonate deeply within you for whatever you believe in is being emphasized right now. The introspective Mercury Retrograde period – that also seems to generate missed connections and mechanical breakdowns – has its difficulties and yet also its rewards in terms of better and more intentional awareness of important fields and desires within you that could have been escaping your attention in busy doing, at least until this slow-down, also engendered by Saturn in your sign in same-degree trine with Jupiter, your traditional ruler.
Jupiter, himself positioned in Cancer follows suit by stationing retrograde on the 11th. This makes his effects stronger at this time. This is also the day of the Moon’s Last Quarter, which emphasizes the lessons of this powerful second week of the month, when your worldview could be majorly shifting. This could be quite productive if you are willing to trust the process at play. On the surface, it could seem like business as usual, but underneath the hustle and bustle lies the profundity of your inner world.
On the 16th and 17th, as the Sun in Scorpio forms a trine with both Saturn in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer you could sense that events are conspiring to show you a new way forward.
On the 18th, Mercury in retrograde backs into Scorpio, there forming an exact opposition with Uranus, now in late Taurus, and a trine with Neptune, now in Pisces. Intuitional information may be more readily available than surface logic and is valuable to you at this juncture. With the Mercury Retrograde, things are moving more slowly. If you are trying to change a pattern in your life, you may have to wait and be patient, trying to keep a sense of perspective, before you can see the results.
The New Moon in Scorpio arrives late on the 19th, or early on the 20th if you’re back east, and brings the start of a powerful cycle in the part of your chart that relates to higher mind, personal philosophy, plus travel, learning, and teaching. This sector relates more generally to any and all experiences that can broaden your mind. Mercury Retrograde also reaches the Scorpio Sun in this New Moon, which is known as its Cazimi and signals the halfway point of its retrograde cycle and a moment of extreme clarity that is like the eye of the hurricane storm. You may not be able to entirely see where things are heading, but the realizations of this moment might help you get there. There is a powerful incentive to tune in to your intuition to guide you forward. This timing with the New Moon, in making a triple conjunction including retrograde Mercury, is quite remarkable. The New Moon trine Neptune in the last degree of your sign is also significant. There is a process that is completing over the next few months of the ending of the year and the first months of the next one that connect to your understanding of who in this world you actually are, with deep down values becoming more available to you both professionally and in the persona you present to others as you go.
The Sun enters the sign of Sagittarius on November 21st which represents the beginning of a more dynamic period with your vocation and public life and/or public reputation. Sagittarius Season is always a favorable time of the year for you, although with this one the Mercury Retrograde that began is Sagittarius still lingers on as well. As in the previous weeks, there could be unexpected setbacks with outer world events and vocational situations that could come up, and these could also lead to important lessons. There is a significant link right now as well between career and your beliefs and worldview, as they are being reviewed and potentially adjusted. As the Grateful Dead lines go, encapsulating this, “Once in a while you can get shown the light/ In the strangest of places if you look at it right.”
Mercury is still moving retrograde in Scorpio and on the 22nd it forms an exact grand trine with Saturn in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer. You could be invited to focus on what you really want and it could be hard to ignore what must be done, or as well the types of internal issues that could be holding you back from your dream vision for yourself. The right balance of work and play could be one secret for your laying the groundwork for success.
Late evening of the 27th, Saturn turns direct in Pisces. The next three months could be consolidating your efforts surrounding a project or an overall redirection which may have been in the works for the past two years could start to show real tangible results.
Mercury turns direct in Scorpio on November 29th, as Venus in Scorpio opposes Uranus which could emphasize a wild impulse or idea that may turn out to be not so crazy after all. Mercury is dead still in the sky so that the symptoms of its retrograde are still very much with us, dissipating over the next two weeks heading into December. Once Venus enters Sagittarius on the 30th, this could represent an easing of the difficulty of your choices, especially professionally, promoting he concept of having faith in yourself and in what you love, which could in fact be the one secret ingredient that you are needing.
