This is another confronting and potentially educational month for you, Virgo, with also some traps to avoid while exploring unique options for service to others and your own creativity. All the lunations of February are important milestones for you. The late Capricorn New Moon from mid-January, influencing the opening weeks of February, runs to dramatic for Virgo, featuring Mercury, your ruler, in extremely close conjunction with Mars, close trine with Uranus, close parallel to Pluto, and an important contra-parallel to Jupiter in Cancer. The net result is consequential for you with a focus – from the Sun and Moon positioned on the edge of the Aquarius sign – of service to others and on attempting to recognize where your Higher Self is asking you to devote energy in terms of important issues of life purpose. Surprise events and unexpected realizations around your vocation and professional or friendship associations are also part of this month’s story. It is important to go for the high side in all this, in trying to stay positive and not collapse your sense of agency and self-determination, that is, evolutionary development rather than undue or undeserved burden. The significant Leo Full Moon that takes place on the 1st represents connection with your inner world and also with the outer dependencies there for resourcefulness, finances, and your innermost principles, with implications for your evolving worldview. In this February 1st Full Moon these are represented by a close connection between Mercury, your ruler, and Venus, ruler of your Libra sector of resources and values. The mid-month Solar Eclipse in late Aquarius, perched on the edge of Pisces, could signal a fresh start in relationships of all kinds. Uranus remains activated at the top of your chart, so that career issues continue to partake of novel ideas and unexpected events and understandings, while issues of intimacy related to key partners also carry a huge energetic charge that borders on the non-physical. On the 24th and the 25th, the Moon’s Frist Quarter and as Mercury shifts to retrograde motion, you enter an introspective period that emphasizes partnership and intimacy from the standpoint of review, reassessment, and questioning the reality of past assumptions in these important areas.

Previous New Moon in Capricorn – Jan 18th
The late Capricorn New Moon thirty-day lunation cycle continues to activate your fifth sector of creativity, pleasure, romance, and self-expression, setting the tone for February. Your sector of day-to-day habitual patterns and health is also somewhat affected. The fifth sector implies fresh commitment to what brings joy, meaning, and vitality, rather than overlooking creativity or pleasure as optional. With multiple planets grouped in Capricorn, there was an undeniable invitation to focus on how you can invest time and energy into what you love. Aspects to Uranus and Saturn–Neptune suggest that creative paths, romantic dynamics, or relationships with any children in your life may be shifting as old expectations dissolve. This lunation cycle also invites ongoing reassessments of what might be considered shifting habits, enlivened understanding of your beliefs and worldview, or an improved vision of your true life purpose.
Full Moon in Leo – Feb 1st
The Leo Full Moon illuminates your twelfth sector of rest, closure, and subconscious material, opposing a strong Aquarius stellium in your sixth sector of work, health, and daily habits or responsibilities. You may feel the need to pull back, rest, or release something that has been draining you, even as life’s demands remain present. This lunation highlights the importance of balance between productivity and restoration. You may want to take notice what needs to be completed, forgiven, or let go of in this new month, plus listen to the quiet inner voices of your dreams, intuitive knowing, and inner compass.
Saturn Conjunct Neptune – Jan 24th-Mar 7th
This is one of the most significant configurations of the year and a defining influence this entire month. Saturn and Neptune – at or near 0° Aries, which is significant – are in close conjunction all month, making their exact perfection on February 20th. This collision of antithetical archetypes activates your eighth sector of shared resources, intimacy, partnership agreements, psychological depth, and personal evolution, and marks a collective and personal threshold where reality may meet up with surrender. You could notice confusion, vulnerability, or disillusionment around emotional bonds or power dynamics. At the same time, this transit supports deep inner restructuring, healing, and a more honest relationship with trust, intimacy, and your capacity to be with uncertainty. A new sense of agency and passion may begin to take shape slowly, asking for patience as core patterns and emotional truth come into view.
Uranus Stations Direct – Feb 3rd
Uranus stations direct in Taurus, activating your ninth sector of beliefs, learning, travel, and expanded perspective. Surprising insights that have been gestating around meaning, education, or worldview could pop to the fore during this week. This is Uranus’ final station in Taurus before its move into Gemini later this spring, when it will more closely trine transformational Pluto, emphasizing a period of integration. When you consider how your beliefs and long-term visions for the future have evolved over the past several years, and how those shifts are continuing to influence your sense of higher purpose, you might find yourself full of wonder for the magnitude of your ongoing evolution.
Mercury Enters Pisces – Feb 6th
Mercury, your ruling planet, enters Pisces or your seventh sector of partners, contracts, and significant one-to-one relationships. Your focus may shift to these key partnerships. Communication could also become more intuitive and emotionally attuned, although perhaps less precise, as this is not Mercury’s most favored environment. This is a supportive time for listening and empathy, but details may need extra care. As far as your close relationships, you might be paying more attention to unspoken dynamics and subtle cues.
Venus Enters Pisces – Feb 10th
Venus moves into Pisces, the sign of her exaltation, and your seventh or relationship sector, softening partnership dynamics and increasing compassion and understanding. This transit supports reconciliation, tenderness, and emotional connection. Partners may feel more fluid and forgiving. Note though that maintaining clear boundaries could remain important.
Mercury Pre-shadow – Feb 11th
Mercury enters its pre-shadow phase in your seventh sector, signaling the gradual approach of its upcoming retrograde. Missed connections may become more likely. This is an early cue to review agreements, commitments, and communication patterns within close relationships.
Saturn Enters Aries – Feb 13th
Saturn enters Aries and your eighth sector of shared resources, intimacy, and transformation, beginning a new two-and-a-half-year phase of emotional and financial maturation. Saturn here asks for accountability around debts, investments, trust, and vulnerability. You may feel pressure to clarify boundaries, responsibilities, or power dynamics within close bonds. Progress favors honesty, patience, and a willingness to face difficult truths directly.
Solar Eclipse in Aquarius – Feb 17th
The Solar Eclipse New Moon in Aquarius activates your sixth sector of workplace, health, habitual routines, and daily systems. Eclipses bring potent turning points, and this one may coincide with changes in workload, habits, or how you manage daily responsibilities. With the Sun and Moon tightly squaring Uranus, disruptions may feel sudden or destabilizing. Staying flexible and responsive can help you adapt to shifts that may ultimately support greater alignment in your wellness habits, and approach to self-care.
Sun Enters Pisces – Feb 18th
As the Sun enters Pisces, your attention turns even more to your seventh sector of partnerships and relational focus. One-to-one connections take on greater significance. This is a period for reflection on how you relate, compromise, and collaborate, and where empathy and clarity can coexist.
Venus Trine Jupiter – Feb 21st-23rd
Venus in your seventh sector of relationships forms a flowing trine to Jupiter in your eleventh sector of community, friendships, and long-term goals. This is one of the most supportive and expansive transits for you amidst the otherwise rather intense month. Encouragement, warmth, and optimism might arrive through partners or allies. Relationships can open doors to new opportunities or renewed hope around your long-term future visions.
Mercury Stations Retrograde – Feb 25th
Mercury stations retrograde in Pisces, backtracking through your seventh sector until March 20th. Your relationship dynamic might be subject to review and potential revision. As the retrograde period unfolds, conversations within partnerships may require clarification as to motivation or for the actual meaning. Rather than push for final conclusions, this is a better time to review agreements, reassess expectations, and refine communication patterns.
Mars Square Uranus – Feb 24th-28th
The month closes with Mars in your sixth sector of habitual patterns squaring Uranus in your ninth or higher mind sector, heightening tension between daily demands and long-range vision. Accidents are possible. Restlessness or frustration could potentially arise if routines feel misaligned with your broader purpose. This volatile energy benefits from physical movement and mindful pacing to encourage calmness. Ideally this moment can catalyze necessary changes in how you structure your time and energy, liberating stuck patterns into novel or uniquely inspired pathways of exploration.
