This month is another in the ongoing series of outer planet intensity, Scorpio, based on the lunation configurations from the recent late Pisces New Moon on to those of the current April month. There is once again the highlighted presence of both Uranus and Pluto, which might remind us of the 1960s when they were prominent in their coming together in Virgo. This year and last they have been in a trine formation, to repeat over the summer, with Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius, and with Neptune at the midpoint in early Aries. There are some resemblances – on the US national scene at least – with an unpopular war being protested along with issues of fair treatment for all our people. Located in your fourth sector of home and family, as well as your psychological developmental roots, the Pluto presence implies long-term transformation of familial mutual understandings as well as issues arising out of your dwelling itself along with, potentially, your family of origin. This last is related to the strong placement of Chiron, the Wounded Healer, together with the new 21st century planet Eris, Feminine Warrior in support of soul intention, with the introspective presence of retrograde Mercury in semi-square to these in the recent New Moon. There is also the startling presence of Uranus in your partnership sector, near your sector of intimacy and exploring your depths. This is another of this month’s themes. Your unconscious has been up for you lately, along with the recognition that not everything that happens within you takes place on the surface. You could also continue to see surprise curve ball events and unexpected revelations affecting your important partnerships. The Libra Full Moon that begins the month, arriving on the evening of April 1st, may arise as a fulfillment of some of these ideas, and encourages more exploration beneath the surface layers of your psyche. These could be in search for a better understanding of inner wounding and unconscious process. Your internal moral compass may also a factor for you in your reflective meditations. The Aries New Moon of April 17th represents another powerful juncture, with a flock of eight planets occupying your sixth sector of dedication to service, day-to-day habits, and your environment. This is thus a complex area of life for you during April’s second half, when you might get further clues to where your psychological development is taking you in this volatile spring timing of another climactic year.

Previous New Moon in late Pisces – March 18th
The recent New Moon in late Pisces continues to activate your fifth sector of creative self-expression and also your sixth of day-to-day work and habitual patterns, bringing a fresh start to these areas and prompting you to care for the seeds planted around joy, children, creative pursuits – along with your daily routines – since the recent New Moon. For the first two weeks of the current month, clarity gained in these areas could be helping you make good choices and support new beginnings – both in how you seek pleasure and how you manage your everyday scene. As you acclimate as well to Saturn and Neptune’s ongoing presence in your sixth sector, developments within your workplace and regarding health habits, although potentially confusing, may feel more consequential. Surprises continue to abound affecting partnership agreements and your relationships in general.
Full Moon in Libra – April 1st
The Full Moon in Libra illuminates your twelfth sector of unconscious process, supported and contrasted by the Aries Sun in your sector of health and daily routines. This lunation exposes how subconscious fears or "self-undoing" habits spill into daily life, allowing you to better understand yourself at depth. It could be that solitude and internal reflection might be a part of your meditations during the first part of April. A Jupiter square to Sun and Moon heightens emotions, while Jupiter’s trine to Mercury – still recovering from its March retrograde – offers potential perspective shifts regarding how you expend your creative powers. You may be able to use this inward draw to confront avoidance tactics long held within you or to embrace spiritual healing. An inspiring conversation may be the key to better understanding and responding to your internal landscape.
Sun Square Jupiter – April 3rd - 7th
As the exalted Aries Sun squares exalted Jupiter in Cancer, a great surge of optimistic and enthusiastic energy sling-shots into your sixth sector of service, physical health routines and workplace. You may feel especially confident in your ability to get a lot done during this transit – but be careful of biting off more than you can chew! Overcommitting to work projects and new health regimens could take place, and yet you must use this extra energy wisely. Jupiter transiting your ninth sector of higher mind, education and foreign perspectives could bring new opportunities to travel, publish or advance your education! With all of this excitement around new horizons in the air, it may also be a bit frustrating to have to eventually come down to earth – where you may have to consider your daily duties and possibly your job, before entirely venturing away.
Mars Enters Aries and Conjuncts Neptune – April 9th - 14th
Mars starts its five-week long transit through Aries, in one of its home signs, with a twist: Mars’ signature drive and energy is immediately complicated by an encounter with sleepy Neptune! At the start of Mars now in your sixth sector, you might slow down within the workplace and find it a struggle to be as productive as usual for this week. A work project or coworker dynamic could also dissolve or become disorienting. Since Mars is your traditional ruler, this can leave you feeling burnt out or overwhelmed. Neptune may be encouraging you to incorporate more imagination or spirituality into your daily life.
Sun Conjunct Eris and Chiron – April 14th - 17th
As the Sun conjuncts Chiron and Eris in your sixth sector, emotional wounds rooted in your relationship to service, productivity, work ethic – or possibly, having to do with your health history – are illuminated. Eris’ presence is enabling you to seek your deeper and most sincere motivation and to go with that, in spite of discomfort or hesitations from undigested internal wounding.
Mercury Enters Aries and Conjuncts Neptune – April 14th - 17th
With Mercury conjunct Neptune within your sixth sector, you may experience mental fog regarding new workplace pursuits, daily routines, or health habits. Logistics could feel elusive, and you may struggle to find the right words during direct conversations with coworkers. However, this transit may also manifest as a surge of compassionate inspiration. You might feel drawn to integrate spiritual routines into your day or find that a project requires more imagination than typical logic. While temporarily disorienting, this alignment offers a unique window where access to non-linear thinking is easily accessible.
New Moon in Aries – April 17th
The Aries New Moon lands in your sixth sector of day-to-day habits and work environments, conjunct Chiron, thus highlighting sensitivities around health and work. Facing these hints of inner wounding head-on allows you to refine your daily habits and strengthen professional ties. The "purifying fire" from Sun and Moon in an activated Aries sign encourages complexity of attitudes and courageous action. You may profit from using this energy to initiate new routines or address workplace vulnerabilities. With a huge Aries stellium of eight planets including Eris there is a complexity and bountiful energy to enhance your experience of the ordinary which is also a dedication to service and purpose. With the Sun and Moon located in late Aries, your seventh sector of partnership is also primed for a fresh start. You may embrace this chance as an opportunity to heal and to lead with newfound confidence in your personal and collaborative life.
Mercury Conjunct Mars and Saturn – April 18th – 22nd
Neptune-induced mental fog can also clear, and a triple conjunction and a shot of practicality in your sixth sector could transform disorientation into a drive for realistic work and wellness. Mars-Saturn friction may cause you to confront physical energy limits that could impact your work ethic or make tasks and authority interactions feel tense. This can additionally cause frustration if your progress feels blocked. There are likely lessons to be found in the blocking. While the urge to push ahead is strong, temporary delays allow you to cultivate patience. Ultimately, this stop-and-go energy serves to refine and strengthen your long-term strategies for health and productivity, turning obstacles into foundations for future success.
Sun Enters Taurus – April 19th
When the Sun enters Taurus, it illuminates your seventh or relationship sector, enhancing your awareness around your fundamental partnership dynamics! This is a transit that pulls your focus towards where you stand within current relationships, and it often reflects a time when important others can take unusual priority over yourself. New relationships and improving current partnerships can definitely occur.
Venus Conjunct Uranus – April 21st – 23rd
Since March 30th, Venus has been in her domicile of Taurus in your seventh sector, encouraging harmony, compromise, and a desire to get along with others. However, her alignment with the rebellious planet Uranus can introduce restlessness and temporarily destabilize relationships. Uranus pushes you to question how free you truly feel within certain partnerships and whether you can express your authentic self within them. A surprising moment between you and someone else could spark this reflection or create a lovely feeling of novelty -- and perhaps uncertainty – about where the relationship stands. During this unsettled phase, it is wise to stay rooted in your core values and maintain strong standards of self-worth.
First Quarter Moon in Leo and Venus Enters Gemini – April 23rd
The Leo First Quarter Moon forms a tense T-square with the Sun and Pluto, triggering a potential conflict between your private internal world, professional responsibilities, and your partnerships. With Pluto activating the Sun and Moon, as well as your fourth sector of home and family, intense emotions and past memories could resurface. Simultaneously, as Venus enters your eighth sector of intimacy, depth exploration, and personal transformation, there could be a softening of psychological shadows and existing trauma. Her transit through Gemini might encourage more active partnership agreements or self-study, making deep transformational process easier to look in the eye. This energy could help you observe some of your "shadow parts" with compassion, lessening the challenges of this intense T-square, guiding you toward healing and self-discovery.
Uranus Enters Gemini – April 25th
New interior developments may begin to surface as Uranus enters Gemini in your eighth sector of intimacy. Uranus in this Air element is in sign connection, by trine, with transformational Pluto, a revolutionary aspect that is now forming, and could also be updating your relationship with personal evolution, trauma, and psychological shadows. Powerful realizations could come about, such as ideas of where you’ve given your power away – whether to partners or to old emotional patterns – and these can inspire you to show up more authentically in your relationships and for yourself, as you claim greater autonomy. This end-of-month time period could also possibly spark a radical sexual awakening or transformation.
