Aquarius Horoscope for April 2026

Posted on April 2, 2026 by Henry Seltzer of ASTROGRAPH.COM

This is another interesting and consequential month for you, Aquarius, and one that represents, based on the recent late Pisces New Moon from mid-March, a fresh start in your sector of values and resources, including your finances. These are potentially in fluctuation, as the Sun and Moon from the recent New Moon configuration, lie in perfect sextile to Trickster Uranus, which is also your ruling planet, and located in your home and family sector where it is energized by several strong aspects. This affects your root psychology, perhaps your dwelling place, and as well your family setting in terms of its relationships, including the possible residue from your own early childhood trauma that is still very much alive for you as unconscious subtext to the present moment. Pluto is also highlighted in the Pisces lunation cycle playing out over the month’s first half; and Pluto is of course located in your sign, where it references the enormous process of metamorphosis that you are currently engaged in, for years maybe. You could perhaps be starting to feel the pinch. There is likely shadow material from deep inside you that needs to come to the light of your more conscious awareness, and as you are learning how to deal with all that, this month represents an important steppingstone to the next stage of your ongoing and essentially spiritual evolution. As the remaining planetary alignments of April presage, your communitive outreach, corresponding to the Aries sign, is also activated now, representing a process of curiosity and learning, leading to a better understanding of your own unique beliefs and worldview. With all these changes in the wind, you may well be asking yourself to what end? Gerard Manly Hopkins, the 19th century blank verse poet, apparently in similar circumstances, had this to say: “Why, that my chaff might fly, my grain lie shear and clear?” In other words, to become his most authentic self, as we are all challenged to become, through our experiences both good and difficult in this life. Astrology teaches us, in this way, that we can always have something to be thankful for; either things go well, or, even if they do not, we have something that we can learn, on the road to our own greater authenticity, as we can manage to travel it.

Previous New Moon in late Pisces – March 18th
The recent New Moon in late Pisces continues to activate your second sector of worth, values, and resources, as well as your third sector of the mind and local environment—encouraging you to nurture the seeds you recently planted in these areas of your life. Any clarity gained during this lunation may now be helping you make choices that support a new beginning, both in how you value yourself and what you prioritize, as well as in how you engage with your surroundings and direct your thoughts. As you’re also acclimating to Saturn and Neptune moving through your third sector, developments involving your neighborhood, siblings, or mindset may feel more significant.

Full Moon in Libra – April 1st
The Libra Full Moon of the first day of the month cheerfully fulfills elements of your ninth sector of philosophical exploration, education, travel, and new horizons! Under this lunation, you may find yourself investigating and drawing new conclusions about the inner workings of your communication process or aspects of inner wounding that are making their fragile way into conscious. It could also draw you to new educational or spiritual pursuits, as you feel the urge to broaden your perspective and deepen your beliefs– about yourself or about the world at large. With Jupiter squaring the Sun and Moon and trining Mercury, brilliant ideas, though edgy, are more than possible. You may come to recognize something you feel is essential to your growth that your local environment seems not to be providing and decide to go traveling.

Sun Square Jupiter – April 3rd - 7th
As the exalted Sun and Jupiter square your sixth and third sectors, your daily life and health routines hit a peak of expansion and confidence. You likely feel more mentally and physically capable, though overcommitting to work projects, community, or siblings is a risk. You may find yourself picking up new workplace skills or enhancing your communication. This is also a perfect time to explore educational or spiritual opportunities in your neighborhood that could improve your overall wellbeing. Enjoy this surge of energy, but stay mindful of your capacity to follow through.

Mars Enters Aries and Conjuncts Neptune – April 9th - 14th
Mars starts its five-week long transit through Aries, in one of its home signs, with a twist: Mars’ signature urgency and action-oriented energy is immediately complicated by an encounter with mystical Neptune! You might find your neighborhood or online community spaces disorienting and filled with illusion. Paradoxically, a conflict with a sibling or neighbor could dissolve! Neptune may be encouraging you to be more compassionate towards or protective of those in your local environment – paired with an urge to have your own opinions be accepted and empathized with.

Sun Conjunct Eris and Chiron – April 14th - 17th
As the Sun conjuncts Chiron and Eris in your third sector, wounds created during your early childhood schooling or regarding your mental function or communication abilities could be illuminated by the bold Aries Sun. Wounds created due to siblings or extended family members may come into your consciousness. Eris’ presence here can prompt you to descend into your depths for your most pressing passion and determine to act only upon that in finding your way forward toward solutions.

Mercury Enters Aries and Conjuncts Neptune – April 14th - 17th
With Mercury conjunct Neptune in your third sector, a temporary mental fog may cloud your logic and educational pursuits. Clear, rational thinking is elusive, making it difficult to find the right words or manage local logistics. However, this transit also brings a surge of forgiveness and understanding toward neighbors and family. You may feel drawn to spiritual groups or artistic expression within your community. It’s wise to let this imaginative disorientation and emotional overwhelm subside before engaging in serious conversations or signing contracts. It may be wise to wait for the fog to lift before committing to important plans.

New Moon in Aries – April 17th
As the Sun and Moon align, a New Moon in Aries forms within your third sector of communication, curiosity, and learning. The Sun and Moon in conjunction with Chiron may highlight sensitivities regarding your mental abilities or articulation style, offering a chance for any usually dormant emotional pain to be clarified, accepted, loved, and soothed. You might be able to express whatever you are feeling inside to others now, and this in and of itself could prove very healing. Regardless of what kind of wound gets triggered, by acknowledging this sensitivity, you can ultimately feel more empowered to embrace you’re your surrounding community. You might feel especially tender, emotionally defensive, or reactive – but under the purifying fire of this Aries New Moon you could find bold emotional expressions and heroic action or experience a mind renewed! There is a stellium of eight planets – counting Sun, Moon, and Eris – in the Aries sign, or your third sector of communications and mental activity. This concentration of energies presages epic conversations with all different kinds of people. Aries or your third sector being part of the first quarter of your solar chart is hence associated with personhood. Facing vulnerabilities about your family or community could also prove to be a theme.

Mercury Conjunct Mars and Saturn – April 18th – 22nd
As Neptune’s mental fog can sometimes clear, this can be helped along by a triple conjunction of practical planets in your third or communications sector. You may be looking to transform disorientation into a drive for realistic plans whenever possible. Mars-Saturn friction could stall contracts or logistical tasks, demanding patience of those around you. Your ongoing transformation of personal identity is triggered and may seem suddenly more real as the background of everything that you do. Inner wounding could come up for renewed investigation. On a positive note, you could heroically confront mental limits, champion a community cause, or speak with passion and authority about yourself. While this stop-and-go energy tests your patience, there are lessons to take note of and to be stored away.

Sun Enters Taurus – April 19th
When the Sun enters Taurus, your fourth sector of home and family comes into focus – enhancing your awareness around domestic life, familial dynamics, and your internal world. This annual transit can coincide with altering your home to be more comfortable and safer, as you’re likely to feel more sensitive at this time. It would be wise to address any pressing familial issues, lean into self-nurturing and check in with your ability to regulate your emotions.

Venus Conjunct Uranus – April 21st – 23rd
Since March 30th, Venus has been happily transiting through Taurus within your fourth sector – inspiring harmony in the household and the beautification of domestic spaces. However, during this short-lived alignment to Uranus, a bit of chaos or restlessness may find its way into the home! You or those you live with might be itching for an aesthetic domestic change or the topic of freedom of expression may need to be addressed. You could also experience a joltingly positive emotional moment in private which inspires a series of creative outbursts.

First Quarter Moon in Leo and Venus Enters Gemini – April 23rd
This Leo First Quarter Moon forms a tense T-square with the Sun and Pluto, sparking friction between your needs, family, and relationships. With Pluto in your first house, intense feelings about your self-image and how you show up for others are heightened. Simultaneously, Venus enters your fifth sector, prioritizing pleasure and creative expression for the next 3.5 weeks. This shift encourages you to choose joy over work, indulge in romance, and tap into your inner child. It’s a perfect time to balance recent tensions by prioritizing play and creativity.

Uranus Enters Gemini – April 25th
As Uranus settles into Gemini, new developments within your fifth sector of romance, creativity, and joy may begin to surface. There are likely to be surprises, and novel ideas relating to your projects, your romantic attachments, or any children in your life, who could suddenly take you off your beaten path. Uranus is done revolutionizing the fourth sector of your emotional world and family dynamics – which in turn, makes you ready to begin upgrading your relationship to joy and exploring new forms of pleasure. The emotional turbulence and internal renovation provided by Uranus in Taurus built the foundation from which you can now creatively express! You may feel especially inspired to be more innovative and to think outside the box.
