Partnership is powerful for you now, Cancer, just as your work in the world takes on added inspirational focus. You are under evolutionary pressure from the universe demanding that you grow both externally and internally. While your career takes on added dimensions, and your life in general incorporates a strong dose of intuitional inner wisdom, travel or educational plans grow more complicated or even remain up in the air. Meanwhile your sense of identity as seen through the relationship factor transforms to become starkly simplified. Whatever serves your evolutionary purpose remains and the rest must go. Home and family concerns could prove limiting but actually help get you on track. You are in the midst of massive change, no longer any need or even any way to deny it.
As the month begins, you are feeling your way into a wider appreciation of what life has to offer you, from a variety of vantage points. This includes input from significant others in your life, and perhaps most importantly from deep inside yourself as well. You are moving through what might seem like extreme trials as a character-building exercise, so that it helps to focus on whatever you can perceive of the finish line, or at least a destination a little farther up the mountain than from where you started. While you are definitely energized in outer world pursuits, over these next weeks few especially, you strike an important balance when you can pay the closest possible attention to each glimpse of the unconscious musings taking place below the level of your normal day-to-day awareness. Mid-month, when Mercury Retrogrades, you may find that the pendulum shifts away from purely forward momentum toward the more intensely introspective. This all serves to further the extreme evolutionary stance that the gods seemingly have in mind for you at this time. If you sometimes wonder why you are faced with challenges in your life, or even when it feels like you might have enough, already, then you might ponder these simple lines from a nearly one hundred years ago: 'Why, that my chaff might fly, my grain lie sheer and clear.' As you separate what is essential from what is merely accidentally a part of your life right now, you might find great solace in the transmutation. You are undergoing metamorphosis, plain and simple. Like the sculptor with his stone, everything is being removed that is not aligned with your ultimate intention.
With the Full Moon in your opposite sign of Tuesday, July 3rd, which takes place in your relationship sector, you are sealing the deal on evolutionary breakthrough, and reaching out for one plateau of progress. Relationship is vitally important to you now, not necessarily as a prop but more as a mirror that is there for you to witness the extent of your own breakthrough. The plans that you have made up to now might seem to be merely the backdrop for what is now peeping over your imagined event horizon as new visions and new factors of transformation loom into the view of your inward eye. The Last Quarter Moon that follows a week later, taking place on Tuesday, July 10th, is traditionally a time of reassessment and reevaluation of what has gone before it in the cycle, and this month even more so with the impending retrograde of Mercury, through your sector of the deep interior material found in dreams and in the machinations of your unconscious process. You are ready to take an important stand for yourself at this time, finding out what it is that you do truly stand for. With the advent of the weekend, Mercury Retrogrades and you might feel a further shift to the internal. The remainder of the week, leading up to the Wednesday, July 18th, New Moon in the late degrees of your sign, is therefore a time to consider, and a seed time for whatever will come next, over the remainder of the month and on into August. This is an active and powerfully transformative and a visionary time period, punctuated by the First Quarter Moon of Thursday, July 26th. You are even more serious about the changes that you are making over this next New Moon cycle, and more committed to sticking them out no matter what. This of course has implications for how much change you continue to allow for as your process continues to evolve, but these are in essence good indicators for the further extension of your development into greater integration and wholeness.
