This month represents an opportunity for you, Leo, that comes in many colors and in two distinct phases, changing after the first two weeks of July. For the first half of this monthly cycle you are pulled to the inside. This is your chance to shine with the accumulated wisdom of these past few weeks and months, not in terms of outer but of inner accomplishment. You are in a sense lost in meditation somewhere deep inside yourself, attempting to find out where in the world you might truly be headed. This is the time that allows you absorb and to integrate the lessons of previous weeks, of the pressure cooker of circumstance, that have forged new awareness deep within you. In the latter half of this monthly cycle, you are operating in an entirely different world.

As the month begins, you are feeling the soul energy of the Cancer New Moon that took place in the last few days of June, still vibrating in your energy field. This New Moon activated your twelfth solar sector of dream imagination and inner work, and was in aspect with numinous Neptune in your sector of intimacy and personal evolution. Your dreams could be quite vivid now, and even more meaningful than usual. Your unconscious has quite a lot to convey to your normal waking mind, that part which is strong in you, always. This is a special time, when the veil that separates you from your inner world in thinner and more malleable. Great awareness could be in process of dawning upon you.

All this focus on your inner world is anchored by the presence of Saturn in your sector of home and family, in aspect with flighty and inspirational Uranus in your higher mind sector. Saturn is for holding steady, not deviating from the prescribed course of action, refraining from risk. There are long-term lessons implied with regarding your connections with family members, with your home ground, and within yourself. You are in important ways getting more solid in what you expect from yourself with regard to these issues, although it could feel like confinement. Then there is the rabble-rousing energy of Uranus, which, in contrast, hates restriction and limitation of any kind and is more than ready to push off into uncharted territory. This energy to hesitate, and also to go ahead, could manifest in many ways. You could be planning a wild trip and keep running into obstacles in getting it off the ground, or be mentally and emotionally prepared for radical inclusion, philosophically or in actuality, and yet find yourself holding back. The third way of taking a middle course of action, when you can find it, would therefore seem to be the best course to take.

Pluto too is emphasized over the course of this monthly cycle, because of a T-square from Mars and Uranus to Pluto in the New Moon chart, and due to various aspects throughout the first half of July. The beat of transformation thus continues for you, centered on what you are doing that is of real service to the surrounding collective and in alignment with your own sense of who you are and what you intend to make of yourself. This subject could also provide you with plenty of food for thought during your meditative sojourn during the first part of July. Uranus and Pluto are still in square, and by fall are scheduled to return to their active engagement in the arena of their combination, so that in your reflections for the year ahead might come further realizations concerning that which you were born to accomplish within this lifetime.

Your life is a constant adventure and an exploration these days, and the most important and interesting discoveries seem to be the ones that you make on the inside, within the largely uncharted territory of your own psyche. This is certainly true of the first half of the month, tending to the three-week mark, before the Sun enters your own sign on the 22nd. After the first two weeks you are increasingly outer-oriented, beginning with the entry of Jupiter into your sign on the 16th, followed by station to direct motion of Saturn on the 20th. This is your time to shine, and all the more brightly depending on the thoroughness of the preparations that you have made during your earlier journey through the obscurity of your inner realms.
