This month represents an important juncture for you, Sagittarius, when you find yourself more serious about forging your own pathway, and more aware of an internal mandate for change along spiritual lines. You are coming from depth in this revaluation of what you are truly up to, this time around, and growing into greater understanding of your bottom-line intentions. You feel an evolution taking place regarding the values and the resources that you bring, and your creative self-expression is transforming as a result. On one level this seems whimsical and somewhat chaotic, as all new paradigms feel at first, while another and more assured intuitional part of you sees what is happening like the third little bear in the folk tale, as just right. During the second half of the month you are curiously investigating and making further in-roads on recreating your worldview and your most basic beliefs; acting on these newfound convictions follows.

The month begins just one day after the lunar eclipse in Leo in your ninth house of religion, higher education, long journeys, and faith. Expect to see these themes highlighted as the month plays out. It’s a good time to examine or revise your beliefs, to dig into or complete your studies, or to make an important pilgrimage or plan for one in the future.
Meanwhile, on February 3rd Mercury in Aquarius in your third house will make a sextile to Mars in Sagittarius in your first house. This month you’re feeling fierce, bold, courageous, and assertive, and this moment adds to that fierceness the need to communicate or speak your mind. Be careful because this transit can be especially impulsive and temperamental. You are wise enough to be kind and you can be as patient as you are passionate.
On the same day, Venus in Aquarius in your third house will square Jupiter in Scorpio in your twelfth house. Are you getting in over your head with something' Do you need to tell the truth to someone you love' Do you need deeper intimacy and honesty about something' You can easily get in over your head this month, especially in relationships, if you’re not incredibly honest about what you’re feeling, what you need, and what you can and can’t commit to going forward.
February 7th the Last Quarter Moon in Scorpio will conjoin with Jupiter in your twelfth house. This is a very deep time of letting go. Loss isn’t always a bad thing. Sometimes loss and letting go opens doors of opportunity that we can hardly imagine, but we have to be willing to surrender to the idea that loss is just as spiritually valuable as gain.
February 10th the planet Venus moves into Pisces, where it was traditionally said to be “exalted.” It will also move into your fourth house. This is the time for love and family. Venus moving into the most private and domestic area of your chart invites you to bring beauty, romance, harmony, and love into your home. Create an inner retreat, a weekend romantic shut-in, or a gathering of friends in your house.
On February 15th it’s a New Moon and solar eclipse in the sign of Aquarius in your third house. This eclipse offers you the opportunity to begin a new chapter with regard to how you communicate, think, and share yourself creatively with the world. It’s a great time to start a new writing, learning, or communication project. It’s also a great time to innovate new ways of using technology or to mature in the way that you interface with others, generally.
On February 17th Mars in Sagittarius in your first house will square Neptune in Pisces in your fourth house. What are you being asked to sacrifice right now in relation to your home and family' Know the difference between becoming a martyr and making a healthy sacrifice.
On February 18th the Sun will enter the sign of Pisces and your fourth house, and on February 21st Venus will conjoin Neptune in Pisces in your fourth house. Home, home, home and family. With so many planets moving through your fourth house this month, you are exploring your family karma in this lifetime very intensely right now. With Jupiter in the twelfth, as the ruler of your fourth, you may be experiencing some sense of loss or the conclusion of a karmic cycle of some kind, but ultimately this can be surprisingly beneficial and uplifting. Trust the process and remember that all is unfolding exactly as it should.
On February 23rd, the First Quarter Moon in Gemini lands in your seventh house. This is an important moment for your relationships or perhaps you have feelings about something important taking place in the life of a partner. Remember to be patient and considerate about other people’s perceptions and opinions. Listen carefully to whatever your partner is saying, and even if you don’t find agreement, try to communicate your differences from a place of patience and compassion.
Finally, in the last few days of the month Mercury and Venus in Pisces in your fourth house will square Mars in Sagittarius in your first house. Sexual, creative, and communicative tension is high. Remember to think and speak clearly. You may find yourself sharing space with highly sensitive people, or you might be feeling more moody than usual. It’s a good time for romance and creativity, but make sure that rather than engaging in bulldozing or bushwhacking, you are dancing and flowing through your experience.
