This is another exciting and amazing month, Taurus, for you and everyone else. There is, for you, a particular focus on your beliefs and worldview that will take you as far as you will let it. The month’s first weekend is significant there, in a way that includes key partners. The understanding that you have about identity, career and the important relationships in your life is subject to a series of epiphanies – as also has been true in recent months – so that by now the messages are likely starting to sink in. Right from January’s very beginning you can see your ideas coming fast and furious, and some could relate to inner wounding that you have been feeling from issues of early childhood trauma long left to fester away in the depths of your psyche unresolved. It might be time to pay more concentrated attention to your inner world and most especially this form of ancient wounding. It is rather amazing, and yet true, that there is pure gold you can discover in this way lying deep inside. This as long as you can cast side any shame and any reluctance that you feel in going there. The early days of January are geared this way, and as well the Last Quarter Moon of the10th when there is a grand cross including Chiron, the Wounded Healer, prominent in your sector of unconscious process and inner work. Your night-time dreams could be quite telling in this regard and you may want a handy pen and journal near to your bed as you awaken from them. When the New Moon of the 18th arrives you will be caught in a storm of energy that might be difficult to weather and yet also very rewarding in terms of novel information, brilliant ideas, and vocational transformation. Your key partners continue to count for quite a bit as you strive to integrate what is going on inside your psyche.

Previous New Moon in Sagittarius – December 19th, 2025
January opens downstream from the Sagittarius New Moon at 28 degrees of the sign, conjunct Venus and square the current Saturn–Neptune conjunction, which colors the entire following month. For you, this lunation cycle lasting thirty days or well into January, activates your eighth sector of intimacy, shared resources, and psychological transformation, along with your beliefs and worldview. With Neptune at the anaretic or final degree of Pisces, this recent New Moon carries a liminal quality that may create the feeling of a threshold throughout this cycle. Something long-held around trust, intuition, and subconscious patterns may be quietly dissolving, and what comes next might not yet be clear. There’s an invitation here to soften inherited beliefs around security and reciprocity, especially where old survival patterns no longer reflected your values. These first few weeks of January ask for presence with what is arising beneath the surface, allowing deeper truths to reorganize at their own pace.
Mercury Enters Capricorn – January 1st
As the year begins, Mercury enters Capricorn and your ninth sector of belief, meaning, and long-range vision, where the Sun, your ruling planet Venus, and Mars have already been travelling. Your mental focus may be drawn toward the frameworks and schools of thought through which you interpret your experiences. This transit supports grounded thinking around education, philosophy, or spiritual direction, helping your ideas take on clearer form without rushing toward certainty.
Chiron Stations Direct in Aries – January 2nd
Chiron, the Wounded Healer, stations direct in your twelfth sector of rest, the unconscious, and hidden wounds, amplifying subtle healing processes in your inner world. Old patterns of self-doubt, withdrawal, or emotional exhaustion may come into awareness. This Chiron station invites healing through respite, honesty, and allowing vulnerability to be met with compassion and self-acceptance.
Full Moon in >Cancer – January 3rd
The first Full Moon of 2026 illuminates your third sector of communication, learning, and immediate environment. With the Moon in Cancer opposing the Capricorn Sun, Venus, and Mars, closely conjunct each other in your ninth sector of beliefs and worldview, this lunation highlights the relationship between your lived experience and the guiding principles you value. Conversations or realizations may clarify whether your daily choices align with your broader values, offering insight into what needs to be expressed, understood, or reframed.
Sun, Venus, and Mars Conjunction in Capricorn – January 2nd–12th
Throughout much of the first half of January, Venus, Sun, and Mars move within two degrees of each other through Capricorn and your ninth sector, aligning will, desire, and values around meaning and future direction. This is an unusually long time for these planets to be conjunct on another, creating an opportunity as this new year begins to bring focus to your higher learning. As Venus is your ruling planet, this period may feel especially important, emphasizing the importance of building a worldview that reflects your lived truth.
Personal Planets Opposite Jupiter and T-Square to Chiron and Eris – January 7th–11th
This extended personal planet conjunction of Sun, Venus, and Mars in Capricorn proceeds to oppose Jupiter in its exaltation in Cancer in your communication sector, stretching the space between expansive ideas and everyday realities. The tension asks for discernment rather than excess, helping you refine what is worth pursuing. At the same time, the T-square that these planets make to Chiron and Eris in your twelfth sector may surface unconscious resistance or fatigue, reminding you that growth may requires rest, support, and time to listen more deeply to your inner knowing.
Venus Square Chiron – January 9th–11th
This brief aspect heightens sensitivity around worth and emotional vulnerability, particularly in private or unspoken ways. Old relational wounds may brush the surface, along with potential issues of self-worth and identity, offering insight into where greater kindness toward yourself is needed.
Venus Enters Aquarius – January 17th

Power dynamics within professional or public roles may come into focus, asking for honesty and transformation around what success truly means to you.
Mars Trine Uranus – January 17th–21st
Mars in Capricorn forms a trine to Uranus in the late degrees of your sign, energizing change and forward momentum. Sudden insights or decisive shifts may arise around identity or direction. While this energy can feel disruptive, it ultimately supports liberation from stagnation and renewed confidence in your own evolution.
New Moon in Capricorn – January 18th
The Capricorn New Moon arrives in your ninth sector of beliefs and worldview, influencing as well your career and professional life, and closely conjuncts Mercury, Venus, Mars, plus aspecting Uranus along with Saturn-Neptune. This extremely potent lunation marks an important moment for setting intentions around belief, education, and future vision. With Neptune leaving Pisces by the end of the month, and Uranus nearing the end of its recent retrograde dip into your sign, there is a sense of liminal space as one massive cycle is ending, while another phase is being to form and take shape.
Sun Enters Aquarius – January 19th
Sun Conjunct Pluto January 21st–25th
As the Sun enters Aquarius and your tenth sector, attention shifts further toward public roles and career endeavors. The conjunction with Pluto intensifies themes of power, authenticity, and agency, bringing awareness to what is ready to be claimed and what is fundamentally transforming.

Mars Conjunct Pluto January 24th–30th
The final week of January carries heightened intensity as Mars joins Pluto in your tenth sector. This alignment can correlate with decisive turning points or power struggles in career or public life. When approached consciously, it supports focused action and meaningful transformation, with restraint and awareness acting as essential guides.
Neptune Enters Aries – January 26th
Neptune’s final entrance into Aries activates your twelfth sector of dream imagination and inner work, initiating a long cycle of spiritual reorientation. As Neptune dissolves old psychic boundaries, intuition, dreams, and unconscious material may become more pronounced. With Saturn preparing to follow Neptune into Aries next month, this entire period emphasizes the integration of vision and grounded practice, inviting rest, reflection, and discernment as a new internal chapter challenges old assumptions.
