As the month begins, you are still riding the wave from the powerful solar eclipse that took place in the sign of Cancer, corresponding to your eighth house of intimacy and personal evolution, bringing a tremendous focus to this area that goes to depth within your psyche. You are making a huge fresh start in this arena. Business or intimate partnerships have been problematic for you, ever since Venus stationed retrograde in Gemini mid-May, causing you to re-think your partnership connection. Revising your alliances, and your agreements, along with the responsibilities that bind you to others, has been a big part of the last month and a half. You’ve still had good chances to collaborate, and to assume your role within your partnerships. Major logistical issues have however arisen, plus potentially a degree of dissatisfaction on your part; you have been mulling over the details of your relationship dynamic with important persons in your life. You begin the month of July with working your way through to better footing in these matters, planning to arrive at the proper headspace to handle the second half of the current year. There could still be things bothering you that will need to be addressed.

On July 1st, Saturn in retrograde motion also returns to Capricorn, where it had been transiting since December 2017 before doing a brief recent stint in Aquarius. Saturn in Capricorn corresponding to your financial sector will therefore perform another round. When it comes to being proactive financially, the great teacher and Senex gave you a good push during the last two years. You’ve probably become smarter about money, while also practicing a form of austerity, dealing with detrimental behaviors that had you spending in the wrong places.

The lunar eclipse in Capricorn taking place on July 4th is all about your financial realm, and highlights the progress you have made. Perhaps there are still some adjustments needed that could involve contracts or business partners. The support coming from other people in your life is undeniable, even though it doesn’t always feel like a great deal. Shared resources and teamwork is indicated for quite some time down the road. You just have to sharpen your negotiation skills.

Mercury Retrograde in Cancer squares Mars in Aries on July 8th creating tension, especially in verbal or written exchanges. The best way to handle conversations at this time is by being actively aware of underlying forceful attitudes on your part or on the part of someone else. This aspect occurs again at the end of July, suggesting that a tense negotiation process could take the whole month to get resolved.

On July 11th, Chiron stations retrograde in Aries while the Moon and Mars conjoins it, leading up to the Last Quarter Moon on July 12th in Aries, with Mars still conjunct Chiron. Intimate or creative partnerships are especially susceptible. If anything painful comes up at this time, moving right through it could be your key to successfully getting to the other side. Paying no attention to difficulties could work in the short term, but like any festering wound, avoiding the issue could create a bigger infection down the road. It is therefore wise to humbly accept the challenges that present themselves. Mercury stations direct on July 12thalso, with the promise of clarity returning to you although it might take a few weeks for that to come to pass.

The Sun in Cancer opposes your ruler Jupiter currently retrograde in Capricorn on July 13th to the 15th. A negotiation process is still taking place as you work out the pros and cons of branching out on your own in a complicated matter. It gets fuzzier by July 19th to the 27th, when Jupiter sextiles Neptune in Pisces; you might feel like you are getting a handle on a situation by taking it to a higher level and exploring a big picture version of ongoing events.

The New Moon in Cancer on July 20th opposes Saturn in Capricorn, prompting a sober approach to a dilemma. You might have to bide your time in a matter that you are impatient to resolve. The good news is that the Sun enters your fellow fire sign of Leo on July 22nd initiating a warmer and more productive cycle for you that will gradually help you gain perspective over the next thirty days.

For the entire month of July, Venus in Gemini retraces the step she just covered last month, which leads to another square with Neptune in Pisces on July 25th. This is the same aspect that initiated her retrograde at the beginning of May. Neptune offers idealization and poetic longing which often leads to disillusionment or disappointment later down the road once the veils are lifted off. This could be felt most strongly again at the end of July when the square between Venus and Neptune is exact. This square is especially significant for you since Venus is in your opposite sign corresponding to your house of partnerships. Venus square Neptune is not entirely negative, although caution has to be taken when judging the potential of a relationship, a situation, or a person. There could be factors missing from the equation or it could be difficult to see the issue for what it is.

It is wise to take some time to contemplate your options in the final week of the month. The First Quarter Moon in Scorpio on July 27th is your cue to step back from the hustle and bustle to think about your current trajectory, where you are going, and what you want to accomplish in the entire second half of the year.
