This is a powerful time for you, Libra, when your focus is on close connection with others, and yet with the larger factor being freer and more complete intimacy within yourself. You have for many weeks been investing emotional energy in the concept of relationship, and its actualization, and this month represents a further stage in these explorations. You currently possess a somewhat fragmented partnership orientation that moves from idealism to practicality. All the while you are coming closer to understanding who you are at depth. Nature as a path to spiritual awareness is also in your wheelhouse these spring days. You may be finding within yourself roads to earth activism that were previously unacknowledged. The Full Moon weekend of May 18th brings with it an important energetic hit of issues of self and other, representing a time when the arrival of relationship revelations comes to a peak. During the last third of the month, your public statement involves significant partners in your life to a far greater extent.

Between May 1st and May 3rd, Mercury in Aries in your seventh house of relationships will be making a square to Saturn in Capricorn in your fourth house of home and family, while also forming a sextile with Mars in Gemini in your ninth house of the higher mind, creating what is traditionally called a “mutual reception.” Given that Saturn and Pluto also recently turned retrograde in your fourth house of home and family, you are likely experiencing a deeper transformation at the root or foundation of your life right now. The changes at the roots of your chart may also force you to look at differing values or spiritual beliefs in your family or your intimate relationships.

On May 4th, the New Moon in Taurus will fall in your eighth house of death and rebirth, pointing again toward a deeper time of transformation to come in the lunar cycle ahead. Intimacy concerns could arise as well, and also issues with over-idealizing partners, in what might turn out to be a rather intensely partner-oriented period of time through to the end of the month.

With Mercury also conjoining Uranus in Taurus between May 7th and 8th, and with Mars in Mercury’s sign of Gemini, opposing Sagittarius between May 5th and 6th, it’s likely that mental breakthroughs, or erratic and rebellious modes of thinking and communicating will also tone the weeks ahead. As uncomfortable as this may be for your harmony-loving ways, with your ruling planet Venus in Aries all the way until May 15th, there is no escaping the philosophical dynamism that is presenting itself in your relationships right now.

Between May 6th to the 10th, the same tensions will escalate as your ruling planet Venus, in the sign of Aries in your seventh house of relationships also gets into squares with Saturn, the South Node of the Moon, and Pluto in Capricorn in the fourth house of home, family and foundations, bringing issues of settling in with your dwelling space, root psychological meditations, and familial connection. Venus is also conjunct Eris during the 8th to the 11th; bringing further relationship issues to the fore, because of the added intensity represented by this new planet, a twin to Pluto, operating from the far reaches of our solar system.

Then, between May 10th and the 15th, the Sun in Taurus in your eighth house of death and rebirth will make trines to Saturn, the South Node, and Pluto in your fourth house of home and family. There will also be a brief grand earth trine formed with the Moon in Virgo on May 14th. Your ruler, Venus, also enters the sign of Taurus, bringing intimacy and depth researches to the fore. This period should introduce a high level of productivity, even if the work indicated requires you to dig into personal, familial, and relational shadows at a deeper level.

On May 18th, the Full Moon in Scorpio will land in your second house of finances, while Venus in Taurus conjoins revolutionary Uranus in the eighth house of other people’s money. Both transits bring unexpected disruptions or sudden changes in relation to money and resources, perhaps especially in relation to intimate relationships. While these changes could be for the better, it’s also possible that you’ll be strapped with an unexpected bill or emotional burden during this Full Moon window.

On May 22nd to the 24th, Mars in Cancer in your tenth house of career will square Chiron, the Wounded Healer, in Aries in your seventh house of relationships. Given that Mars is the ruler of this month’s Full Moon, this transit points to a moment of emotional confrontation and healing, either at work or in your intimate relationships, or perhaps both at once.

Finally, from May 29th to May 30th, Mercury in Gemini in your ninth house of the higher mind will square Neptune in Pisces in your sixth house of work, sickness, and service while also making an opposition to Jupiter in Pisces in your third house of the mind and communication. The atmosphere around you to close out the month is busy, filled with ideas, learning, and perhaps even travel. You are also poised to mobilize your ideas and thoughts, finding both practical and imaginative ways of putting your beliefs into action.
