Sagittarius Horoscope for March 2023

This is an interesting and somewhat challenging month of inner exploration, Sagittarius, with a distinct focus on home, family, and deep psychology, along with newly emerging forms of creativity. You might literally wok on your dwelling space or the familial connections within it, and could also be involved with home base as metaphor for the deeper part of yourself that hides from the light and yet invites exploration. There is a sense of life mission based on intuition rather than mere daytime logic. The Full Moon of March 7th is an important juncture, a balance-seeking between inner and outer commitments. This alignment between your interior awareness and outward-directed activity might be profoundly tested. Inner wounding could also arise in this context and be brought to greater consciousness as a result, leading to healing of these issues. The Quarter Moon in your sign a week later, on the 14th, is also quite powerful and suggests a crisis in consciousness leading to greater integration between your actions and what is held most deeply within you. The Aries New Moon of the 21st then constitutes a massive fresh start in the varieties of your creative self-expression; a new beginning.

The New Moon in Pisces that took place on February 19th and 20th continues to unfold into the month of March emphasizing domestic matters and the foundational aspects of your existence. You may feel like spending quality time with family members at home or doing what you love and it can be easier to step away from your responsibilities at this time. What you need to feel safe and stable might be more obvious and these things can also feel more important to you. Patterns or habits that relate to your upbringing could also be coming up and it be an opportunity to let go of behaviors that have outlived their purpose.

Venus and Jupiter in Aries shine brightly in the Western skies at dusk in the Northern Hemisphere and come together at the beginning of the month, from the 1st to the 3rd, in combination with hidden Chiron. This conjunction of two benefics heralds an opportunity for a more profound experience of joy, pleasure, and more direct access to the benevolence of life, while the Chiron connection implies that little demons of self-doubt or not-good-enough might simultaneously rear their heads and cry out for attention to deeper matters within your psyche. If so, this might be an excellent time to apply greater conscious awareness to these manifestations of inner wounding and to make positive moves toward healing such issues. Your interpersonal relationships will benefit from these positive influences, now and into the remainder of the year.

Mercury meets Saturn in Aquarius before entering Pisces on the 2nd which may bring a serious mood or highlight logistical issues that need attention but this should be quick to resolve. Mercury changing sign could bring a distinct shift in thinking as it leaves conceptual and future-oriented Aquarius for the more poetic and imaginative realm of Pisces.

The Virgo Full Moon arrives on the 7th and this angular lunation for members of your sign could illuminate recent accomplishments and your role in the public sphere. Issues of public versus private experience are likely to come up for you in this context. You should be able to take stock of where you are at in relation to your goals, and then too the Full Moon may also bring a sense of so many pending choices and wild ideas that it could be slightly overwhelming. Mercury in Pisces rules over this lunation and could take you down into your unconscious for accessing your deepest values and moral principles for additional information through a process of intuition.

Saturn enters Pisces a few hours after the Full Moon which signals the beginning of a two-year cycle for a powerful focus and sense of commitment pertaining to your domestic life, your roots, and your sense of security. This is an important transit that should help to gradually shed light on early parental care and the deep-rooted patterns of your inner life.

As the month progresses the Last Quarter Moon of the 14th finds both Mercury and the Sun conjoining Neptune in Pisces while also forming a square with Mars in Gemini with the Moon in your sign opposed. Relationships in connection to your domestic life could feature more prominently and you might be more inclined to slip into fantasy rather than acknowledging work and responsibilities.

On the 15th through the 17th, Venus in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn while entering Taurus, which may bring a change of pace and a more grounding influence for work and your routine in the coming weeks. Mercury enters Aries on the 18th and this could also speed up communications and help dissipate the more sluggish influences of the past few weeks.

The Sun enters Aries on the 20th; the sign of its exaltation, signaling the beginning of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and the return of the light.

The New Moon in Aries a day later takes place on March 21st in your sector of creative self-expression, which brings a revitalizing influence for things related to your passions, pleasure, and personal projects for the next thirty days. A stellium of six planets, counting Eris, is located in Aries now, with mostly positive signs for what you are trying to put forth. You will likely continue to dig down deep within you psyche for answers to important questions that you continue to ask yourself.

Two days after the New Moon, on the 23rd, Pluto enters Aquarius, indicating a shift from his long sojourn in Capricorn. Your mentality is highlighted now and over the long term, with transformation in this area being quite possible over the nearly 20-year cycle coming up. As Pluto takes up residency in your communication sector what could begin to change are the ways you process or exchange information and ideas with others.

Mars enters the sign of Cancer on the 25th after an 8-month transit in Gemini shifting the modality from airy, chatty, and conceptual activity to more emotional, intuitive, and felt ways of self-assertion.

The last week of the month, focused on the 28th, emphasizes your interpersonal relationships and the agreements you have with others. You may need to make a few adjustments as priorities shift. Impatience is possible yet your collaborations and the support you receive from others can continue to be an important part of your success at this time. Your passion and enthusiasm remain high. You could in fact feel the need to delegate some of your workload in order to get through what you want to accomplish.
